Having stayed at various village hotels, this is our first visit to glasgow village hotel . Very friendly staff, excellent choice for dining. Great if you like gym pool sauna and sports events on tv . Excellent choice of drinks at the bar ,look forward to returning there next year

Excellent location for an event at the OVO arena and the science centre. Free parking which was an added bonus. We loved the pool as a little afternoon treat with the kids. Staff on reception were lovely. Disappointing service in the pub/restaurant as had to wait nearly an hour for our kids ice creams which came with their kids set meal menu and we had ordered at the beginning. We had to speak to staff 3 separate times to politely ask for it to come as by this time the kids were tired and getting tricky. The restaurant wasn't busy either. This was the only disappointing part though and the positives definitely outweighed this.

Booked for a relaxing 4star stay with leisure centre and close to city centre. Very much a travelodge feel with a weatherspoons sports bar attached. Restaurant food and service were poor. Not a bit relaxing.

Good overall, about a 40 min walk to the city centre, good food options around the hotel as well as the bar and grill downstairs. Staff are friendly and helpful. Despite being on the busy main road, you can’t hear anything from the room.
