One of my favorite hotels that I've stayed at. What really makes this hotel special is the owner. My sister and I asked him where to find the nearest ATM, and he just stopped what he was doing and walked us there himself, pointing out the nearest convenience store and other useful locations. It was so nice of him. The hotel also has an amazing vibe, the old mansion is really cool and each room has such character. If they are having a special dinner when you are staying, I recommend signing up for it, our dinner was amazing. My sister still raves about it and says the salad was the best she has ever had.

Antep e ilk defa gidiyorduk, kalacağımız yeri internetten seçtik, fiyatı uygun güvenli ve temiz bir konaktı. Ulaşım olarak merkeze yürüme mesafesindeydi. Tek problem internette yazan oda sınıfı yerine kendi belirledikleri oda tipini vermek istemeleri, biz burdan kendi verdikleri fiyatın altında bir meblağa odayı tutmuş olabiliriz ama internette yazan neyse ona uymaları gerekmekte, çok bir münakaşaya girmeden ortada buluştuk. Yöresel kahvaltı diye sunulan hizmet açıkçası fiyatını asla karşılamıyor, sonrasında urfaya geçtiğimizde konakladığımız yerde verilen kahvaltının yanında ciddi şekilde düşündürücüydü. Sağolsun hanımefendi elinden geldiğince hizmet vermeye çalıştı istediğiniz birşey varmı diye sordu ama kullanılan tabakların kırık olması ve çeşitin de az olması fiyat performansı karşılamıyordu. Tek eleştirim sanırım bu olabilir. Onun dışında odamız temizdi ve evimizdeymişiz gibi dinlenerek uyuduk, yer yadırgamadık ve oda konseptleri çok şirindi. Konak sahibi kimselerde bizleri güzel bir şekilde ağırladılar. Yine gitsem kalırım dediğim bir yer.

İnternet ve hotels yorumlarının çok iyi olması nedeniyle iki çift için iki ayrı oda olarak rezervasyon yaptırdık. Ancak konaklama tarihinden birgün önce iki ayrı oda için rezervasyon teyidi yapmamıza karşın, ortak tuvalet ve banyolu iki odalı ve iki çift yataklı çatı katında oda tahsis edilmişti. Bir çiftin tuvalet ve banyoyu kullanması için diğer çiftin yatak odasına girmesi gerekiyordu. Bunu kabul etmeyince ikinci bir oda verildi. Bizim işletmeden ortak bir oda talebimiz hiç olmadı. Üç gece kaldığımız konakta çıkışta büyük oda için ilave bir ödeme talep edildi ve ilk gece otele ait olmak üzere iki gecelik ilave ücret ödemesinde anlaşıldı. Bu tür işletmelerin rezervasyonumuzun iki ayrı oda olmasına karşın baştan ortak bir odayı sunması ve sonrasında ilave ücret talep etmesi kabul edilebilir bir durum olmamıştır. Bunun dışında işletme sahipleri ve çalışanları yaklaşımları ilgili ve yardımseverdir. Konak tarihi bir mekan ve altında bir mağara barındırmaktadır.

İşletenler iyi niyetli temiz insanlar ancak sizlere faydalı olabilmek adına bazı noktalara dikkat çekmek isterim. 1-Otele gittiğimizde bize verilen “Nene”isimli oda fotoğraflarda yok. Tek kişilik yatağın biraz daha genişi yani oda ve yatak küçücük. İtiraz ettik, ek ücretle süit yapabiliriz dediler istemedik günün sonunda başka bir odayla yardımcı oldular. (Odayı mutlaka sorun!) 2-Mahremiyet sizin için önemliyse alt katlarda güneşlik yok. Biz gece ışığıyla durmak zorunda kaldık çünkü görünebiliyor. (Çıkıp kontrol ettim) 3-Kahvaltı dahil mi aldığınızı kontrol edin, biz dahil sanıp etmedik 2 kişi 400 tl ödedik (bizim hatamız). O paraya değecek bir kahvaltı yok (yani fırından taze çıkmış ekmeler, yöresel tatlar vs.) dahil değilse mutlaka dışarıda yapmanızı tavsiye ederim. 4-Otelin konumu gerçekten merkezi, çarşıya yürüme mesafesinde. Tarihi bir konak olduğunu bilerek gelin. Bir ermeni konağı ve altında gerçekten sarnıç, mahzen, mağara vb kat var. Bunun dışında tarihi yapı olduğundan yukarıdan banyodaki su tahliye sinin sesi gelebilir. Güneşlik olmadığı için sokak ışığı direkt olarak içeriyi aydınlık bırakıyor.
