Be sure to call the resort before booking to get all the extra $$ due that arent listed here & some features like the BEACH water accessibility- It was off limits.. smh. We payed almost an addit'l big $$ 4 parking. (WHY???) After an issue. We ended staying in one of the lake houses. (Thanks to the Manger- Shes a sweetheart) But after reviewing another I realized we were in an older model. Really plain. Black and grey.. no pics on the walls. The feeling wasnt welcoming at all.. BUT The bed was comfortable tho. Most staff was great.. However there were 3 instances where we experienced off-track-racism/ sexism...1. Upon checking in.. the 1st lady was unnecessarily rude. 2. At the poolside bar, with the male bar tender avoided me at every turn and tended to the Caucasian or other race folk. I sat and called out to him numerous times for like 20 mins.. He would even come near me and would still act like i didnt exist. I had to go get my husband. And ONLY THEN. Once my husband spoke, did he pay attention & take my order. I felt degraded. Didnt know whether it was a female thing or a racist thing i had just went thru. Also we were told that breakfast ends at 12 by front desk..It actually ends at 11 on wknddays 10:30 on wkdays. The guy greated us with a rejection warning but was so welcoming to a Caucasian guy that arrived 20 mins after it was to be over with. Smh. Oh yeah. Bring your insect spray. There are huge spiders everywhere. Even with all that. We still relaxed tho. So ok.

I liked the view and how clean it was. Despite this, the room had a wet dog smell. The A/C was on 68, but it felt muggy in the room. There weren’t many channel options on the TV. It seemed like an old TV, based on the fact that the screen randomly froze and there were images superimposed over other images, at times. Part of the “resort fees” was access to the saltwater pool “24/7”, but it was closed when we went to swim. Overall, I spent a lot for what was ultimately a disappointing experience. My stays at Hilton properties half the price have been more enjoyable.

No shower liner, so water was on the bathroom floor when I finished my shower

This property is beautiful and very large. The lake view villas were well worth the cost with a great back patio facing the lake. The rooms are well equipped and they will even deliver ice to your room! We rented a pontoon one day to explore the lake and the water was beautiful and clear!

This isn't my first time staying here. I’ve visited before with my family because I love the lake and have good memories. This time, I made a last-minute reservation to spend some quiet time alone after going through a difficult experience. The hotel seems to be in a similar condition as before, but I was disappointed to find that the walking paths for solo strolls weren’t properly maintained. Most of all, I was frustrated by a billing error in which I was charged twice for an unexpected fee, and even after calling, the issue wasn’t properly resolved.
