Vacation home Victoria - with fireplace in Frauenwald am Rennsteig

Welcome to the Ilmenau district of Frauenwald, a state-recognized resort on the Rennsteig! Our newly built "Victoria" holiday home awaits you from January 2019 with the highest level of comfort and appealing equipment to make your stay in the Thuringian Forest an unforgettable experience. Located near the Rennsteig and at an altitude of almost 800 meters, you live in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, surrounded by fairytale nature. Frauenwald recently celebrated its 800th anniversary and has been part of Ilmenau since January 2019.
Our house offers 150 square meters of space for up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms (up to 10 people with additional use of the open living / sleeping areas) and is equipped with 2 bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a large living / dining area with a fireplace, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower / toilet. On the upper floor you will find the large living area with fireplace, 2 further bedrooms and a bathroom with bath / shower / toilet.
Use our house as a starting point for hikes or explore the quickly accessible cities such as Erfurt, Coburg or Suhl. In winter there are groomed trails right near the house.
Enjoy the Thuringian cuisine and the extensive tourist offer the region has to offer! These include:

After a busy day full of new impressions, relax in the evening by the fireplace.

Bed linen and towels are always included in the rental price.

A visitor's tax is payable on site and is levied by the municipality of Frauenwald at the following amount:

Schönes Haus mit allem, was man braucht.Sehr gut ausgestattet.Die Spülmaschine hat teils nur kalt gespült, wird sicher in Ordnung gebracht. Aber sonst war alles gut.

Schönes Haus

Haus entspricht voll der Beschreibung. Viel Platz und gute Aufteilung der Räume. Küche gut eingerichtet.Waren mit dem Haus sehr zufrieden. Ein kleines mango gibt es. Frauenwald ist ein kleiner Ort ohne einkaufsmöglichkeit. Nächster Einkaufsmarkt ist 6 Km entfernt in Schmiedewald.

Für uns als vier Paare war das Ferienhaus ideal; man kann draußen auf der Terasse ebenso gemütlich zusammensitzen wie drinnen am Kamin, und die Gegend lädt zum Wandern ein. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend.

eine großartige Unterkunft im Thüringer Wald in der Nähe vom Rennsteig

Das Haus ist modern, sauber, geschmackvoll und komplett eingerichtet. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Wir haben uns mit 7 Personen in dieser Woche dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war nett und alle Anfragen wurden zeitnah und zufriedenstellend beantwortet. Wir kommen kommen bestimmt wieder, denn der Rennsteig hat noch einige Etappen die wir nicht absolviert haben.

Familienzeit

Das Haus lässt für eine Gruppe/Familie keine Wünsche offen. Liebevoll eingerichtet und an alles gedacht :)) Super Kontakt mit Vermieter. Im Ort haben wir ganz besonders die Familienangebote genutzt. Besonders zu empfehlen der Zwergenpfad. Interessantes in der Natur zu erleben ab Schulkindalter. Leider gibt es in diesem Ort keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ausser einem Fleischer ( und der war zu:((( )

Ferienhaus im Frauenwald

Danke für alles. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, geräumig und etwas abseits gelegen und damit in ruhiger Lage. Die Informationen zum Aufenthalt waren sehr gut. Leider waren zu unserer Reisezeit (Mitte Juli 23) nur eine Gaststätte geöffnet. Mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug kommt man aber überall hin. Der private Einkauf ist etwas schwierig, aber Ilmenau ist ja nicht sehr weit.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in wunderschöner Umgebung

Für unser jährliches Familientreffen haben wir uns diese Wohnung ausgesucht. Für acht Personen, darunter ein kleines Kind, war es perfekt. Es sind zwei Wohnungen in einem Haus, ein großes Wohnzimmer mit vollständig ausgestatteter Küche im Erdgeschoss, vier Schlafzimmer und zwei Bädern, alles super sauber und quasi neu. Der Ort Frauenwald bei Ilmenau in Thüringen, direkt am Wanderweg Rennsteig ist gut für alle Unternehmungen draußen. Eine Stunde bis Erfurt oder Eisenach. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Modernes, helles Haus mit allem Drum und Dran

Wir (zwei befreundete Ehepaare) hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche. Von der Kommunikation mit dem freundlichen Vermieter über die ruhige Lage am Ortsrand bis zur Ausstattung des Hauses, die keine Wünsche offen ließ, war alles dazu angetan, uns einen schönen Winterurlaub zu ermöglichen. Das kleine Frauenwald hat mit z.B. dem Haus Waldfrieden und dem Gasthaus Drei Kronen Restaurants mit ausgesprochen leckerer Küche zu bieten; auch die Fleischerei Lobig ist einen Besuch wert. In Frauenwald selber, Schmiedefeld und Oberhof fanden wir auch Ende Februar noch gute bis hervorragende Möglichkeiten zum Skilanglaufen vor. Das war bestimmt nicht unser letzter Besuch in Frauenwald!

Super schöner Urlaub im Thüringer Wald

Wir waren alle sehr begeistert von dem Haus. Es ist sehr sauber, alles neuwertig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es wurde an jede Kleinigkeit beim einrichten gedacht. Das Haus hat eine super Lage. Der Vermieter war direkt jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Der Ort selbst ist auch für viele Erkundungen geeignet. Man kann die größeren Orte schnell erreichen. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt im Thüringer Wald werden wir auf jeden Fall gern wieder dieses Haus buchen.

Schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Blitzsauberes Haus bei Ankunft. Ausstattung perfekt. Gemütlich und modern zugleich. Technische Ausstattung auf neuestem Stand ( z. Bsp. automatische Hausbelüftung). Tolle Lage mit tollem Blick in die Landschaft. Alle notwendigen Utensilien ausreichend vor Ort, vom Toilettenpapier über Zewa-Rollen bis zum Kaminholz, Grillkohle usw.! Genügend Handtücher und Handseife in den Bädern. Ankommen und wohlfühlen!
