Just 10 min to Franklin, Millcreek is in a gated community with paved roads throughout. This 2 bed, 2 bath villa is on a level front lot with easy access and parking for 2 adjacent to the property. Newly remodeled with modern decor, your comfort is our concern! Step into the light and bright open concept living area with wood like flooring (no carpet, except for stairs) and mid century modern seating for 4. The dining area can seat up to 6 with a leaf and extra chairs available. The kitchen is well equipped with all stainless steel appliances, gorgeous granite, electric cooktop/stove and essential small appliances. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage enjoying the native stone fireplace or, sit on the expansive deck in your rocking chairs overlooking the view of the forest and golf course. Watch the multitude of birds and wildlife, or just sit with a good book and revel in the relaxation only offered by being with nature. The large primary bedroom offers a new king bed in an uncrowded space, with soothing decor. Need an office? A desk and file cabinet in the primary bedroom offer you a quiet place to do your work. The new en-suite bathroom has a spacious shower to help melt your cares away with new towels and exclusive bath amenities provided. Downstairs you and your guests will delight in the extra large guest suite with 2 new twin beds, a chaise lounge perfect for reading/napping, bath with tub/shower combo, large closet and laundry closet with washer and dryer. A Keurig and small refrigerator are available to keep the water and wine cold. Another large deck with table, chairs and rocker offer a great view. Down comforters keep you and your guests cozy and warm in the winter months. High speed internet service is excellent unless the occasional windstorm hits, but power is usually back on quickly. De-humidifiers are on both floors, but must be emptied daily, and an air purifier will help filter dust and pet dander. Roku TV's are in both bedrooms with Netflix, Prime and HBO Max included in your stay. An electric cooker is available for grilling. This is black bear country, so please no garbage, food, pet food or birdseed left outside, or in your car. A garbage/recycling center is located 5 min. from the villa. Instructions provided in home.

Franklin is an easy drive from Atlanta, Greenville, Knoxville and Chattanooga. Asheville is just over 1 hr., and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Harrah's Casino are just 35 minutes away.
Franklin is the Macon County seat, and offers something for everyone with abundant waterfalls, hiking on the Appalachian and other trails, and under 1 hour to 4 major lakes with swimming and boating. Fly fishing is a major attraction on the Tennessee River with outfitters available for guided instruction. Mountain biking and white-water rafting are also very popular.
