Franconia Notch Weekend

My family and I had a great time at this property. Very clean, comfortable, and close to Cannon Mountain for a day of skiing. Great time, I’d highly recommend for families.

Amazing location, perfect for toddlers

This property was perfect for a short vacation for my siblings and our families (and our mom). The yard was beautiful and well-loved by our dog, the home was well furnished, clean, and new enough to not have squeaky floors to wake up two sleeping babies :) And the convenient location could not have been better. We can't wait to go back again next year!

Family Vaca

Every year I choose a different house for my family to share for a few days , usually around the 4th of July. This yr I chose a fun family home in Franconia Beautiful home , closed in back porch, fire pit, comfortable beds, games in garage. A great family get away with peaceful mountain views.

Fantastic place

We all had an amazing time during our small family reunion in Franconia. Six of us stayed in the house and we were joined by another couple during the day. We loved playing games on the lawn and in th garage. The area is beautiful.

Great little getaway!

We had a great little white mountain getaway during our school vacation week. We were very happy to have the ping pong and air hockey tables to keep us entertained during rainstorms. The place was clean and the kitchen well organized. Perfect location to chase waterfalls between rainstorms!

Awesome rental!

We had an awesome time renting this house! Perfect spot to go hike from and come back to relax. Deidre was also very understanding and kind when we rushed for check out process and accidentally took the key with us (later returned). Would recommend and would rent again!

Beautiful Mountain View

The house was wonderfully laid out. Labels and instructions were around to help out. The pellet stove was a lovely treat at the end of the day. I would definitely stay again.

Franconia Delight!

Probably the most overall delightful home we have enjoyed over the years with VRBO rentals! Roomy yet cozy, modern everything, spotless clean, equipped with everything we needed, marvelous beds, quiet nice convenient neighborhood, easy communication with host, wonderful views of the mountains, and on & on & on. Cant wait to return. 5 stars in every way.

Awesome Stay

Reviews are a key part of selecting a vacation rental for us. This lovely home met or exceeded every positive comment that was stated in all of the mostly 5 star reviews. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We really loved the ping pong and foosball as an added bonus! The owners were very responsive and helpful! I’d highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a rental in the area.

Comfortable stay, great views, well equipped

The house had ample amounts of space for 5 people, a toddler, and a dog to all be comfortable. It had great views of Cannon Mountain from the living room window. But what I appreciated the most was how well equipped the kitchen was with different utensils needed, especially the stainless steel pans. Large selection of games and streaming services. And had everything in written directions around the house for anything you may need. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home and perfect location - we didn't want to leave!

The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need in their beautifully decorated, lovely home and are super responsive if you have any questions. Easy access to Franconia and Littleton for restaurants, Franconia Notch and Cannon Mtn hiking and more. We loved relaxing in front of the huge window after a long day of hiking. Fully stocked with games, movies and books if you prefer a less active day. Having AC was an added bonus that isn't always found in homes in the area and was greatly appreciated when temps reached the upper 80's before cooling off again. Wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and clean

Great place to stay. Plenty of sleeping space and three bathrooms were a big help. Our kids spent hours playing air hockey and ping pong. Location makes it easy to get to everything in Franconia and Sugar Hill area. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, etc. Not like some rentals that grab a four pack of IKEA plates and think that’s somehow enough. The place was spotless when we arrived. The owners were responsive and helpful with all of our questions.

The location was great for our purposes. The house was adequately accommodating for us. The only issue we had was the air systems in the two spare rooms were connected and had to be set together and it caused issues that were easily fixable. They did have a notice about it posted. Answered quickly when we reached out.

A Truly Wonderful Place to Stay!

My husband and I feel fortunate to have found this wonderful house to enjoy our time in a beautiful part of NH. We are former vacation property owners, so truly appreciated all the small and large amenities this house had to offer. The kitchen is well stocked, including spices and condiments, and there plenty of dishes and cookware. All the furniture was clean and comfortable. The new screen porch off the back is an outstanding place to sit and relax at any time of day! Back inside, all the rooms included A/C so that after a super-hot day outside, we could enjoy the view in a cool living room in front of the picture window. There were clear and easy to understand instructions posted inside for the house or items in it and I cannot say enough good about the property owner, who is thoughtful, kind and prompt in response to any question or issue. We brought our chocolate lab puppy, Ruby, who celebrated her six-month birthday on the screen porch with her very own frozen pup cup from Secret ice cream in Bethlehem NH which just 10 minutes away. (Their signature honeycomb ice cream is amazing.) This house has a large and lovely level back and front yard, so perfect for pups and kids to play. A bonus during our stay was that the property's giant blueberry bushes were loaded so we were able to pick enough for a delicious breakfast of Polly's Pancake Parlor pancakes (mix purchased at the Franconia market) with fresh blueberries and NH maple syrup, of course. So good!This house and its location have it all! Great place, fantastic owner and the very best of the White Mts right outside the door. We'll be back!

NH Ski weekend

We had a great trip to New Hampshire for some skiing and checking out the local breweries. The Sawmill house was perfect for our group and in an ideal location near Cannon and Littleton. Owners are very helpful and accommodating.

Amazing View of Cannon Mtn!!!

Cozy, Newly renovated, immaculate, and super comfortable beds… The pellet stove was soooo easy to use and it made the environment wonderful! The home exceeded our expectations and when I had one questions the owners helped me immediately and they are incredibly kind!! We can’t wait to return! Thank You!!!! Sharon and Family:)

Autumn weekend

Our group of 8 had an amazing time at this house. The fall colors were gorgeous, and we were only a 15 minute drive from the popular Franconia ridge hike. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the living area was cozy and full of games. Our favorite part was the front window which gave a beautiful view of the foliage. Franconia was a fun place to explore, and nearby Littleton was also great for shopping and eating. We can’t wait to be back in the White Mountains soon!

Great hike jump off location

Great property. Will rent again. I’ve stayed in lots of short term rentals and this one clearly was well thought out and managed by professionals. Everything had been thought of, labeled and organized. Great stay!
