I booked what was supposed to be a 4- star hotel , but when I arrived it looked more like a noisy roadside motel.The photos and descriptions were very misleading.This is perfect example of why star rating can’t always be trusted.Avoid unless you enjoy being misled.

Pros: Property was close to the airport, easy arrival, clean, direct beach access, kid and family friendly, great staff, great breakfast, direct access to other restaurants within walking distance. Lots to do in this location and resort and area which made it a fantastic trip for our family. Cons: Multiple pools but only 1 was heated, the other pools were freezing which is such a shame because people really wanted to swim at the other locations. Loud AC in the room and the hallways with guest coming and going at all hours of the night were extremely loud. We had a number of sleepless nights just due to noise.

This property is a renovated motel. My son and I booked a stay for a few days. This felt like we were completely catfish. The pictures on the website do not truly reflect the condition of the facility. The door to our hotel room had direct access to the outside which creates a safety issue. I ended my stay early and booked another hotel and requested a refund and was denied. I would not recommend this facility.

The property is not a four star property and it’s marketed as a four star everywhere. Rude staff at check in counter and at restaurants as well. Poor quality of breakfast and food. Entered in room and very terrible smell of bleach was there. Rooms were not cleaned and had sand all over the place. Basic shower toiletries were not there. Had to ask about everything. Room cleaning staff entered without permission into the room There are many good other options nearby.

This is a good little resort. Lots of food options so you don’t have to leave if you don’t want too. Two pools for when the beach isn’t what you want to do… only issue is being that the parts of the resort they haven’t updated is definitely showing its age. The doors are surprisingly thin. I could hear everything going on in the hallways, as well as everything the adjoining room was doing. Overall a decent enough resort, just not necessarily worth the price paid.

The location is its biggest attraction. Being right on the beach and having several restaurants either onsite or within a very short walk is a plus. I would say overall the property is generally kind of middle of the road. It isn’t a dump but it isn’t overly impressive either. It was a little noisy in the room and anything or anyone in the hall could be easily heard. The fact that our room overlooked the beach also meant that the live nightly entertainment at the beachfront bar was easily heard from inside our room. Honestly though, after about 10 p.m. it was perfectly quiet for sleeping. I found Okaloosa Island generally more laid back and quiet compared to Destin yet Destin is an easy five miles away if you want more to do or see.

Great stay! Really lovely staff. No issues. Swim up bar was not open but the snack bar is right by the pool with drinks and eats. The drinks are fresh made and yummy. We did bfast at the restaurant and it was great food they have a buffet option also. One pool was heated and the big waterfall pool was ice cold at the end of April. The kiddie pool was not as cold. The access to the beach was great and easy with another bar right before the beach. Overall we had a great stay!

Pleasant and clean

Overall it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was clean and spacious, the rainfall shower was a nice surprise, the AC was incredible. The room walls are paper thin, we could hear everything all night long unfortunately. The rooms are ages but well kept. The lobby was bright, spotlessly clean and open, staff were pleasant. We had buffet breakfast included with our stay, the food was nice however not worth the price per person to add it on unfortunately. The biggest disappointment we had was the lack of staff around outside. We had our little girls shoes stolen while we were in the pool. Also during childrens movie night ion the pool, there was a large mixed group of youg unaccompanied children 11-14 in age speaking and yelling very inappropriate slurs to young girls. I feel that had there been staff present this may not have become so bad. The pool area itself was clean and pleasant, access to the beach was very easy and kept very clean in all areas we visited. With the Easter events and the entertainment it was value for the price we paid, unsure if we would return at a higher rate.
