The area surrounding Ferlach offers numerous hiking trails that are suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers. We particularly recommend a hike through the wild and romantic Tscheppaschlucht gorge, where you can discover impressive waterfalls and rock formations. The Karawanken Nature Park is also nearby and invites you to take long walks in unspoilt nature. The many lakes in Carinthia, such as the nearby Lake Wörthersee or Lake Faak, are perfect for water sports activities. You can swim, sail or take a relaxing boat trip. If you prefer to relax, there are also numerous bathing spots where you can enjoy the sun.
