Magnífica villa de estilo portugués con piscina privada en medio de una propiedad de 20 acres en una zona ecológica con jardín y huerto (limones, pomelos, naranjas, ...) que comprende 3 dormitorios con ropa de cama nueva y 2 baños, uno de los cuales en suite

Ubicación muy privada sin vis-à-vis y tranquila, ideal para vacaciones familiares, en las alturas del pequeño pueblo de Santa Bárbara de Nexe, a 4 minutos en coche de las tiendas, y a 8 minutos de Loulé, la antigua capital de la 'Algarve con su mercado cubierto diario.

A 15 minutos de las playas, a 20 minutos de Vilamoura y los campos de golf de Vale de Lobo y Quinta do Lago.

El aeropuerto internacional de Faro también está a 15 minutos y es servido por Ryanair desde Charleroi, Maastricht, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf y Brussels Airlines y TAP desde Bruselas.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in einem sehr gepflegten Haus verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war hervorragend. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung mit einem herrlichen Ausblick.

Peace, tranquility and pool

We had a fantastic time at the property, the location was perfect for us, 20mins to the motorway and Faro but so quite. Access track to the house really wasn't a problem,we had a VW Polo and managed no problem at all, the house was in great decorative order and had everything that we needed, the pool was crystal clear and warm.Thank you Nicolas for letting us stay in your lovely holiday home.

House needs an urgent facelift

To reach the house, you have first to pass an unpaved, bumpy and narrow street. The first impression - after handling the not deactivated alarm system was disappointing. The house needs an urgent renovation, especially the bedrooms and the living room. The white walls aren´t white anymore, the wooden floor bricks in the sleeping rooms are loose, the beds are lowest quality, you have the impression to stay more in an youth hostel than in a good holiday home. We expected the owner to react to the multible feedback regarding the towel situation, but it is still like many guests complain. The fridge is more than 30 years old, the TV 19, and the house rules forbid you more than it allows. Don´t move the furniture, but how can you reach the bed or the closet when a rigid baby bed in in the way, The outdoor facilities - there is a big wooden table and 8 chairs, but all without cusions, the seating area near the grill is not anymore like shown in the pictures the new solution is scratchy, so you need some towels to feel more comfortable. Then the last point, the good one, the pool is great, the garden is great and the cloth line is prctical. Due to the hot temperatures and the sunny days - we really enjoyed during our stay, we would have preferred fo find more shade, The pool lies on the south side, so starting from the morning to afternoon, you have all the time sunny areas, the shadow area is blocked by the big wooden table an the 8 chairs without cusions.

Beautiful house for a family

Our family had a beautiful stay at this house! Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 children and this property was the perfect size for our family. The pool area was very nice and we enjoyed the views of the garden and fruit trees. The house felt private, peaceful and quiet. The location of this house was ideal for us! We rented a car and had the opportunity to visit a lot of local areas including Faro, Albufeira, Tavira and Sevilla. There are multiple grocery stores and restaurants nearby and we had a number of beaches to choose from. Everything we needed was easily accessible. Nicolas was also a wonderful host! Communication was great and he was always very responsive with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!

A lovely relaxing villa

A very comfortable villa with a superb outside garden and pool. The communication with Nicolas was superb. There are mosquito protection on all windows although we didn't see any during our stay in early June..The villa is well equipped. The last 100 metres of the driveway is rocky but fine. We used the Continente supermarket in Loule which is easy to get to at just 10 mins from the villa. Wonderful wildlife around the garden with a resident Little Owl which visited us most evenings. Highly recommended for a peaceful countryside holiday.

Nice location with lot of space

We enjoyed this nice house in a very quite and large garden area very much. Just some small ideas for optimization: better pans and pots in the kitchen, and a shower with more water pressure (which might be caused by the elevated location in the hills.). Maybe two towels instead of one per person would be ideal for a stay of one week.

Great villa in a peaceful location

Family of four adults. Had a lovely relaxing break, with day trips out to various locations. Car a must, villa is well kept, some lovely restaurants nearby (5-10 mins in a car). Could do with some more towels, but otherwise well equipped for a great holiday. Many thanks, would recommend.

Nice quiet house in the hills of Faro

Very nice stay in a spacious Portuguese house in the hills of Faro. 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living area and a lovely outdoor space with a weekly maintained pool. Airco present for the hot Portuguese summer nights. Excellent directions and instructions by the owner, otherwise it would be rather difficult to find (except Google maps :-)). A car is needed for the Faro hills. Great restaurants in the neighbourhood and just a less than 15 min drive to Faro or Faro beach. We had a great stay for a week in may. Thank you, Nicolas.

Perfekt lässt für eine Familie keine Wünsche offen

Sehr schöner Familienaufenthalt mit 2 Kids. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren Anfang November da und konnten geschützt unter dem Dach der Pergula noch lange draußen sitzen. Nach einem Ausflug an die Westküste bei dem man sich ordentlich den Wind um die Nase wehen lassen kann war es auch Abends am Kamin sehr gemütlich. Der Pool auch Anfang November noch in Betrieb und sehr gepflegt so wie das ganze Haus auch sehr sauber. Hervorragend ist die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber, absolut super, immer schnelle Antworten. Vielen Dank Nicolas wir waren gern Deine Gäste.

Fantastic villa - great location

We had a lovely stay in the villa. The location was perfect for us: rural and quiet. The communication with Nicolas was always prompt and easy. The villa itself is basic but has everything you need - this is reflected in the very reasonable price. I would recommend taking beach towels and also extra pillow cases to make use of the extra pillows stored in the cupboards. I would 100% recommend.

Lovely country property

I visited with my family and young nephew and really enjoyed the countryside and peace offered by the country location. Property has a beautiful inviting swimming pool especially as the temperature was up in the high 30s during our visit. Facilities good but kitchen could do with a little TLC and we would have appreciated more than just a bath towel each (no hand towel provided). Would recommend visiting if you are looking to get away from it all

Wonderful stay

First time in Portugal and first time villa holiday. Was perfect we loved every minute of our stay. Villa was perfect. We arrived slightly earlier than check in and the housekeeper kindly allowed us to wait around the pool area until she had finished. The area was beautiful and peaceful. Only a short drive to some amazing restaurants. Portugal is so beautiful 🇵🇹 💓

Peaceful villa, yet easy reach to amenities

This is a wonderful villa inland from the coast with fabulous views (to the sea in the distance). Car a necessity as it is remote, but for us, that was the attraction. Supermarkets, restaurants etc within ten mins. The pool is just wonderful, and made our stay. We were barely in the house. Biggest let down were the towels provided. These were camping type towels- very thin and cheap feel. (We ended up going to buy bath towels as they didn’t even absorb water). Cutlery and some crockery too was very basic. Shame, as if these things were improved we would give 5 stars without hesitation.

The property was secluded and in pleasant location with distant views of the sea. A car was necessary to travel to shops and restaurants. Villa was very comfortable and well equipped. The host was very helpful and contactable if needed. We enjoyed our stay.

The perfect getaway in the perfect villa

Stayed here for a week in June. The villa was perfect and I would argue better than advertised. Loved its location in the hills. Felt very tranquil but always a 5/10 min drive to supermarket and restaurants. Outdoor space was spacious and large grounds to wonder around were great. Just wish we came in a season where the organisers and lemons were ripe! Indoors had everything you would need and more, with appropriate facilities for a baby. Nicolas was extremely communicative and easy to get hold off before and during our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Magnifique villa

Villa magnifique et spacieuse et très propre. Arrivée bien organisée. Communication facile avec Nicolas le propriétaire. Merci pour sa disponibilité même à distance. Petite attention prévue à notre arrivée 😀. Endroit très calme pour se reposer. Il faut cependant une voiture pour s'y rendre ou pour se rendre aux différents endroits touristiques. A little slice of heaven!

This property surpassed our expectations and we can't wait to return. It is situated in a very peaceful location which helped us to switch off from the hustle and bustle of city life! The villa has a very well equipped kitchen which enabled us to cook some meals very well from home. Communication with Nicolas was excellent and he takes great pride in his villa. We found the villa very clean and everything was easy to use. We wish we were still there!
