Comfy and cozy. Unsure why, but there was a lingering smell of marijuana in the hallways and our room. Overall the upgrades are beautiful!

Beautiful Views But Overpriced
Sweet and helpful young woman at check in. Very clean with great views. Hot tub was nice but pool was on cold side. Sauna did not heat up. Pool area overall needs renovated. Bed was really hard. Why don’t hotels give you rooms with options for bed firmness? Good food and service at the restaurant, but overpriced, and I was sick all night from how much butter was on everything. I would have liked healthier options. Bummed there was not an exercise option (too cold to walk the beach in the winter).

Can’t wait to see the renovations when they are complete. Our stay was rough with the room above us screaming and fighting and slamming doors making ours shake until 3 am with nothing being done about it. The restaurant was what saved the stay this time. We’re hoping the addition will have some better sound proofing!

Definitely will return to stay again.
My room was super nice and clean, the bed exceptionally comfortable, the view of the river pleasant, and the restaurant/bar had great service. The montage of pictures adoring the walls both in the hallways and room taken from the surrounding area were absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again.

I've stayed in quiet. Few of hotels in escanaba and surrounding areas and this by far is the best stay I have had. I've returned twice and will continue to stay here if I come back again.
