The space
After a day of exploring the mountains or desert around Escalante, wash the trail dust off in a warm shower and let your muscles recover during a peaceful nights rest on the queen size bed. Open the windows at night to experience the 30-40 degree cooldown from the warm temperature of the daytime and the night sounds of a rural community. View the expanse of space from the back patio. Super cosy cottage in a friendly peaceful little town. Some advice for renters - don’t bring too much food, there isn’t a great deal of storage space and there are plenty of places to buy food in town. Clothes storage - there are some coat hangars but nothing else, so again, travel light. But apart from those comments we would totally recommend the house to others, it was very well equipped, comfortable, clean and peaceful and a short walk to a great restaurant on the main road in a sweet super friendly historic town.

Very cute and cozy little house. Well thought out accommodations as they have everything you need for your stay. There is no laundry but there is a small laundrimat about 1 block away off the main street. Very quiet. Loved our stay

Beautiful and romantic

We loved this little house. Had anything and everything we could have needed. Our host was so helpful, responsive, and sweet. I loved how homey and cozy this felt for us but still had plenty of room for us to set up our big suitcase open and still move around and use the whole place. The bathroom is tiny but has everything you could possibly need. So many amazing restaurants near by too. We loved breakfast burritos from magnolia kitchen and incredible sourdough from excalante outfitters highly suggest this place

We spent a few days exploring the slot canyons in the area. The Tiny House was a great base location and worked fine for the two of us. It would have been nice to have a couple more chairs for when friends stopped by.

We were in escalante for the weekend to hike and the little house was perfect for us ! It had everything we needed and was nice to come back to at the end of the day. The Perfect Place!

The Little House was truly perfect for two people! The house is very clean, the neighborhood is quiet, and the home has everything you will need. Melani was very kind and easy to communicate with. If we ever return to Escalante, we will be staying here again!

Absolutely adorable!

It's always hard to tell from the pictures, but when we pulled into the driveway after dark, by husband and I started to chuckle and we both said "It's adorable!" It's small (as stated) but has room for a bed, love seat, kitchen area and small bathroom, with plenty of room to move around in. The fridge is large enough to hold full size milk jugs. There is a small stove/oven and a microwave. There is no washer/dryer and no room to put one. The house is very tastefully decorated and has a history included in the binder of other information. Thank you for having this cute house available! We'd definitely reserve it again if we're in the area and need it!

Heavenly Little House

Our stay in Melani's little house was fantastic. We enjoyed reading the history of the house. I'm a big fan of perserving the past. The house was thoughtfully stocked and delightfully decorated. Melani and her family suggested a couple of great hikes in the area, and a wonderful place for dinner and breakfast. We hope we can stay in this heavenly little house again. Thank You!!!

You’ve found the spot, stop looking and just book it, seriously!

The little house has a perfect 5 star rating for a reason. You can tell it was put together with thought and care. Great use of space, comfortable, exceptional clean (this is normally my biggest complain with rentals, but not this one!) and easy to cook meals. Everything in the house is quality, no skipping like so many other rentals. Good value for money. Can easily walk to Main Street. Nice bench out back for watching sunsets.

Hiking HQ

This little house was THE perfect place for myself and a hiking buddy! It was pretty central to the area for the parts of Escalante Staircase we wanted to explore, whether going W-SW to Bryce or to the E-NE to Singing Slot and the most northern end of ES National Monument. The host was FANTASTIC to work with, and, in fact, was quite PRO-active a few times. I felt like they really wanted us to have a great experience and that they took upon themselves to make us feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. Goal achieved! Should I come back to this area and explore some more (this is my 3rd time in this quadrant of Utah, so it's likely!), I will look for this property's availability again. Just a GREAT experience here! Thank you!
