Everything about our stay was lovely. Easy check in and host was extremely responsive and helpful. The house was spotless and comfortable. We most enjoyed the outdoor space and pool. Would highly recommend!

Quiet and close to the beach

Place was nice. Close to the beach, and movies with the kids at night at the tiki bar.

House was cute and well-maintained. Neighborhood is still rebuilding due to last year’s hurricanes, but location is fantastic and close to bay and beach. Lots to do with the pool and the provided bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Hidden Gem on Manasota Key

We had an amazing stay at Stump Pass Pool House! So close to Stump Pass and all the other beautiful beaches and shark teeth hunting! Pool House is small but it’s got everything you need and was perfect for us and our grandson! The pool and bikes are a wonderful bonus! It’s close to several good restaurants! We enjoyed every minute and hope to come back soon!

Best stay for a family you could ever want!!!

2nd time coming back and will be back again! Saves hundreds on rentals having it all onsite included in your stay, no driving, waiting or time limits! Everything is well taken care of and clean! Owner is so helpful and a dream to work with! Close to everything but secluded and safe for kids to be able to ride bikes around and explore! Very close to beaches. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hidden gem!

The Pool House

This trip was thrown together at the very last minute and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Communication was fantastic, whether that be messages through VRBO or texts directly from the owner. Home is beautiful, steps from the beach, and comes stocked with every outdoor beach item you can think of. Neat backyard with inviting landscaping, indoor heated and Tiki Bar. Would 100% stay in this place again. Thanks Peter!

Everything was just as described! I was shocked at how every detail was thought of, from whistles on the life vests, to the front door that props open, so when you bring your things in, itseasy pezzy! Location was awesome! Pool was very clean and pretty. Pretty tiki bar with lights and a big fancy tv! I have not one thing to say that would have made our stay better. I would most definitely stay here again. In fact I can’t wait to book again!

Great property and location

We had such a great time at The Pool House! Besides beach time, we took the kayaks out via Stump Pass State park, just two blocks away. Two of us also got out on the bikes. The rest of our time was spent handing out on the patio/Tiki bar and pool. LOVED the outdoor showers! We cooked out on the grill and had all our meals at the unit- so convenient. Highly recommend this rental!

Everything was Wonderful

We arrived at the house in the middle of the night, and it was so easy to get in. The house was spotless and we had everything you could possibly need. The shower inside the house looked wonderful, however I never used it! The outside shower is INCREDIBLE! We never used the shuttle service that is available, since there are bikes. The location is also perfect.

Outstanding little place to stay!

We stayed for 1 week. Great communication on check-in process. Arrived after an unplanned 20 hour drive at 4:30am and the lock box worked as expected and we got into the unit with no issue. Publix is 8 mins away. Kitchen has everything you could want. Unit has 4 little coolers and 1 large cooler. Used the large cooler with provided chairs, beach towels and went to both the public beach and the adjacent park beach (10 min walk). Park beach is outstanding. Lots of shells. Room to go for a long walk down to the tip at Stump Pass. Took the four kayaks and used two of the small coolers and went out into the Stump Pass State Park 3 different days. Two days spent time paddling around with dolphins and the last day the teens spent over an hour floating around two dolphins as they played, ate and swam around us. An amazing memory. Great restaurants on Manasota Key… our favorite was Magnolia’s. A great week.

Great place!

Our family of four stayed here and had a fantastic week. Everything we needed was within walking distance, or we used the bicycles provided. Everything we needed for the beach was also provided. The backyard tiki bar was a wonderful place to relax in the evening.

Short getaway

We stayed here for 5 nights for a quick getaway to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had friends come and stay a night with us. We loved the property and everything that came with it. The location, amenities, cleanliness, everything is well thought out. We look forward to a return trip in the future.

The property was very clean and offered a lot of amenities (bikes that are in great condition, kayaks, wagons to tote beach gear, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc). There were only 2 of us so there was plenty of room. The area is walkable and easy to bike. There is a golf cart service called Stumpy's that regularly comes by and provides free transport to and from local restaurants. (Magnolia's is incredible!) The TV connection was a hit or miss but I'm excluding that from the review since we weren't there to watch TV.

Anniversary Get Away

After weeks of searching online for just the right combination of things I found this place on Manasota Key. A surprise anniversary trip for my wife turned out to be a great experience and our stay here was a big part in it all. The owner, Peter, was easy to work with and very responsive. The house was beautifully decorated, cozy, fun, clean and full of amenities. The location was perfect and close to the beach and inter-water ways. The "toys", bikes, kayaks, beach gear were perfect and so convenient to have right at the house. If I have any constructive criticism I'd say the bed was not very comfortable but manageable. Yet all in all we loved this place and the Island and will hopefully be back sooner than later!

Relaxing stay with walkable beach access!

Our family of four had a wonderful time at The Pool House! We were looking for a quiet escape that was close to the beach. It was so convenient to have a short walk to both the beach to look for shells, as well as park to head out on the kayaks. The owners had everything we needed! We enjoyed the use of the beach chairs, corn hole court, pool, outdoor showers, and shell cleaning station! Our boys (6 and 9), enjoyed hours in the pool. Great place!

Great home!

We loved our time here and would love to stay again! The little pool, the beach access and proximity to trails and kayak launch, as well as the provided bikes, kayaks, beach supplies and corn hole were amazing! The backyard space to dine and watch the game was perfect! We wish there was a clearer note in the description that the pool was shared with the other half of the duplex, but in the end, we didn’t find this to be a huge problem. Great home!!

Enjoyed every moment of our stay. Great accommodations and location to everything we needed. We had great neighbors and no problems sharing the pool area. Would definitely return!
