Our family loves the outdoors and this location checks off everything on our list. From s’mores by the fire, throwing the ball by the water to watching the deer feed in the backyard! Great memories and plenty of relaxing.

Fantastic stay!

We spent Labor Day weekend here and absolutely loved it! House was very clean, well provisioned, and perfect for a relaxing family trip. Super convenient location in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We will be back!

Birthday weekend

Went with family to celebrate dad/husband's birthday. Had an absolute blast just hanging out, sitting in the river and cooking good food. The cabin is great, check in was a breeze and the owners were awesome. Would definitely recommend!!

First blended family vacation

The cabin was everything we needed and wanted. We have three teenagers and they had a blast playing pool, enjoying the hot tub, and walking along the creek. The property also had a beautiful landscape providing an amazing background for photos.

Great property

Really nice rental - everything as promised. Wish the bathrooms were a little nicer. The creek surrounding the property is absolutely amazing. Kind of wish the grass was all mowed shorter, but we have short leg dogs… Also the stairs to the lower level game room were a bit treacherous for them. We absolutely LOVE the location. Being right between Ellijay and Blue Ridge was great!

Fabulous Cabin!

The homeowner has thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. They even provided towels for the hot tub. The owner was easy to contact and even made recommendations for restaurants that were excellent!We will be renting this cabin again!!

Perfect Spot

My fiancé and I are in love with this property! It has all the great amenities of a cabin retreat. Plenty of family space, jacuzzi, comfortable beds, location, and the creek front property. Great spot between Blue ridge and Ellijay to make getting around easy. The owners exceed in direct communication! Thank guys!

Exceeded Expectations!

When we arrived, we realized that pictures do not do this place justice, it actually exceeded our expectations. This property and the surrounding properties are some of the most beautiful views I’ve seen, allowing us to find much needed peace and serenity here. The owners have thought out everything so well, we didn’t have to ask any questions about how things operated. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed every aspect of our trip, but most of all we enjoyed our time spent here making memories, playing games, grilling out, eating in, sitting by the fire listening to the creek flow and birds talk. Our dog enjoyed being free to roam in the beautiful green grass and the creek. We are so thankful for this experience and the hospitality of the owners who were very accommodating and made it known to us that they were available if we needed anything. We are looking forward to returning to Rifle Run Cabin in the future for more good times and memories!

Refreshing Riffle Run

Wonderful cabin and refreshing atmosphere! The sounds of the creek are quite relaxing and scenery peaceful. This was our family’s Thanksgiving gathering place and we all enjoyed. Everyone wished we had stayed longer! Very nice and clean inside and out, and well equipped.

The Riffle Run cabin had all the luxuries and amenities we needed!

This cabin and property is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the quiet yet sound of the running creek so close and the creekside fires in the evening. The only issue we had was nothing to do with the cabin but the train ride was booked several days in advance and we didn’t know that and the helicopter tour was not operating because they were waiting on a permit to ok a new helicopter. So we took advantage and drove to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg for a day. Still had a wonderful time!

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful time!! The house is easy to get to and so close to everything we wanted to do. I loved all of the touches that the owners included (fully stocked kitchen, nice linens, etc.) You can tell that they take pride in this home. The house sits on the river which was wonderful for the kids. We had smores (and wine) by the firepit every night. The owners were very easy to communicate with and offered lots of recommendations. The "game room" in the lower level offered plenty of activities (darts, pool table, foosball and board games. My husband hired the guide that the owner suggested for fly fishing and had a once in a lifetime experience!! Already booked this cabin again for next year.

Ideal Family Getaway

This property is amazing. Wonderful cabin with plenty of space for 1-2 families and a great basement for indoor entertainment. Outside is the star of the show though. Huge flat yard probably the size of two football fields. Calm, meandering creek that flows into the Ellijay River. Perfect for the kids to explore, and for fishing. We built a fire in the fire pit both nights, and cooked hotdogs and s’mores before enjoying clear views for stargazing. Nobody wanted to leave, and we would absolutely stay again

McFarlan Family Summer Vacation 2022

This is a delightful cabin that is close enough to quickly go into town yet still in a quiet, beautiful area. It’s centrally located to Eilay and Blue Ridge, and just a quick drive to McCaysville. The bedroom upstairs was perfect, the bed was very comfortable. Soaking in the jetted tub after a long day of exploring was an unexpected treat! The kids enjoyed the downstairs as their domain. The downstairs beds were all comfortable. It was nice to have a separate living area/playroom for them to hang out in. We enjoyed several games of pool and darts. The separation of living areas was a pleasant surprise. When the kids were downstairs they were not disruptive to the others upstairs. The kitchen has ample dishes and pot pans. We cooked several meals during our stay, the grill was a nice bonus as well. My husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the screened back-porch watching the deer and listening to the creek flow. The kids loved playing in the creek. Next time we will bring a fishing pole! If your a golfer there is a beautiful course just down the road. My husband enjoyed playing a round one morning. Zipline Canopy Tours of Blue Ridge is about 10 minutes away. Our family really enjoyed zip lining. There is a very nice winery about a mile down the road. The cabin was very clean with plenty of linens. Charles and Alyssa were a fantastic hosts! They were quick to respond to any questions we had. This was a great stay for our family summer get away!
