Vacation Stay
Amazing!! It was beautiful-so many deer around the property. Whole family had a great time. We've rented multiple times around that area and this was by far one of the best places we've stayed

Family vacation
Cabin was large enough for our family, close to everything. We loved have game night and having the indoor community pool. The owner was very sweet to let us arrive early and was just a text away if needed.

Beautiful location
Loved all the deer around the neighborhood, literally deer everywhere. Tons of vineyards around to enjoy wine. Had a blast at the apple festival eating apple dumplings and drinking apple cider. Gorgeous location but as a native flat land Floridian driving the winding, hilly roads to get to the cabin was a bit nerve racking.

Mountain Getaway with Friends
We had a wonderful time at the cabin in the Coosawattee River Resort. Our group of 9 enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The teens especially enjoyed the Fußball table and ping pong table. The projector was also great for enjoying movies at night. We were a little disappointed that the river was not really accessible from the cabin nor was it really visible (barely a glimpse through the trees). We finally checked out the amenities of the CRR on the last day. I wish we had done so earlier. It was really nice recreation area with a small but nice arcade, a large pool, and outdoor games (basketball, pickle ball, tennis, and mini golf). Overall we enjoyed our time at the cabin. Seeing deer in the yard almost every day was awesome. We made great use of the kitchen and loved having a dishwasher to make cleanup easier. The kitchen could have a few more essentials for those who like to cook (crockpot, griddle, more/larger Mixing bowls, cheese grater, vegetable peeler, more dish towels/dish cloths, ect). The biggest opportunity for improvement of the overall experience would be a furniture upgrade, especially the beds/mattresses. Bill was great at responding quickly when we had an issue with the grill. We enjoyed our stay in Ellijay. Definitely visit B.J. Reese orchard that is nearby.

Surles 2023
Location was great and we saw tons of deer. The driveway is steep so definitely was hard to get out. House was nice but had a few maintenance issues. The master bathroom toilet was broke. Wouldn't flush because chain was broke and the shower drain was glogged and it took forever to drain. When we first arrived the microwave didn't work but luckily I have a handy husband who figured out the breaker was flipped off. Then the morning after we arrived and went to make breakfast the toaster was broke. Other than those things our trip was great. I would make a few suggestions to get more cozy chairs/hammock for back porch. We did love the big screen and down stairs game room. Also the beds were really comfortable.

Loved the deer (they are everywhere), resort amenities, tubing, hiking to waterfall, antique shopping. House had perfect amount of space. Kids loved the projection tv and eating on the back porch where it feels like a treehouse.

Great Family getaway
The cabin is very large and nice. There is a master bedroom on the main floor, two bedrooms on the second floor and another bedroom in the finished basement, plus futon bed in basement gathering movie room. My Older parents came and they were able to get around on the main level with little assistance. The gated community where this cabin is located is VERY LARGE. there are a lot of PARKS, River access, Nature trails, etc throughout. This property is deep into this community and the roads are narrow, steep and curvy. We are from the mountains of Tennessee so driving these roads was not an issue for us, but even we would not want to drive them in the winter. All that being said. The property was great for our family vacation. We plays a lot of games, and ate very well. We had some adventures with the power going out.. but we had great communication with the owners and it all worked out right. The pool is about a 10-15 minutes drive away and very refreshing (COLD!) (Riverside Pool). We also went to the indoor pool to check out the weight room, mini golf, and the billiards/arcade area. It was all very nice. There are a lot of WILDLIFE in the area, especially Deer. We even saw a bear cub cross the street as we were driving. Ellijay is very close and there are a ton of great shops and eating places there. If you like to thrift/antique, then this area is great for that. We ate at two very good restaurants, Charlies Italian, and Poole's BBQ. Overall great vacation.
