A Perfect Getaway Cottage

This cottage overly exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the perfect amount of space for our family. We were blown away by all the attention to details left by Kurt and the organization of everything. We loved the deck and the creek running right by the house. My kids had the best time playing in the creek and we so enjoyed the firepit. We felt like all the "necessities" was taken care of which is a huge burden lifted when traveling for a short weekend. We will for sure be returning to stay here on our next weekend trip to Ellijay!

Beautiful!

Loved the cabin! Master bedroom bed was super comfy!! the stream is right outside the cabin. Wish they had had ESPN on their TV package - but we survived...lol.... Thanks for a super time!

Great stay, unique place!

The property has wonderful appeal as you pull up with a nice exterior and beautiful landscaping. Once inside, it only get better as it's an upscale mountain lodge decor with high ceilings and a chef's kitchen. All new appliances with gas (a chef's dream!). The back porch is well equipped with a fire pit and very nice grill overlooking the most beautiful and serene mountain creek. Would come back and stay 10/10 times. Highly recommend.

Modern, super clean secluded cabin

We really enjoyed our week stay at this Ellijay cabin. We had a fair amount of rain the week we stayed here but truly didn’t care as the cabin felt cozy and safe and we had the vacation we needed. We did venture out to Ellijay and the little downtown area which was charming and fun to explore. We also hiked several different days at Carter’s Lake which was very doable and close enough. The cabin was well stocked and the fresh farm eggs and well stocked kitchen was a welcomed bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay. We do highly recommend this lovely cabin.

The Best!

Beautiful home, well appointed. It is a great place to get away from it all! There is a creek right out the back door, so you able to hear the lovely sound of the rushing water, inside the house and of course outside on the deck. We had a glass of wine every night relaxing outside. Great kitchen with everything needed to cook a nice meal, also outside is a grill to barbeque. They didn't miss a beat with this home, we will definitely be going back!

Great place! Love that they leave condiments and such. I’ve never understood why we need to throw salt away! Super clean! Comfy beds! Awesome kitchen! Great back porch area with solo stove fireplace. Streamlined check out process. Would definitely return.

Rest and relaxing

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this perfect cabin. We walked into a house that was perfectly clean, well maintained and contained everything needed for our stay. Our host was easy to communicate with and promptly addressed any questions we had. Thank you for the fresh eggs and veggies! This was our second time visiting Ellijay, so we did not venture out much. Most days were spent enjoying the cabin. We will be back!

Family getaway

Cute, clean cabin perfect for our family of 5. We had a great time playing in the creek and sitting on the deck in the evenings. It was nice to take a break from technology and enjoy one another’s company. We played cards and chess and enjoyed watching movies together. We will definitely be back.

Pure serenity and beauty

Needing a much needed respite as a full time caregiver for my elderly mom, this place fit the bill. I dont think my husband and I have ever stayed at a more clean, bright, inviting, and well furnished home as this place. The quietness, the peaceful sound of the flowing stream, the birds chirping, and the cool evenings were so calming and relaxing whether on the deck or in the house. The king bed was very comfortable. The fresh eggs left in the frig to eat were an added treat we enjoyed for breakfast. Communication with the owner was great. 5 stars all the way!

Perfect getaway

Everything was absolutely perfect! The home was beautiful, clean, and just as advertised. Sitting on the deck by the creek was relaxing and enjoyable, and the privacy was great. No detail was overlooked in this rental. The host even left us a dozen farm fresh eggs and a bottle of wine (we were celebrating our anniversary) in the fridge at check-in. It was also nice not to have a huge checkout chore list. We will definitely be back in the future!

What a treasure - “cottage” was immaculate and so tastefully decorated, sight and sounds of the river right off the porch, all of the special touches by the host (farm fresh eggs in the fridge, music playing and lights to greet us upon arrival) and then - SNOW on our last day! We could not have asked for more…

A group of friends stayed over the weekend in the peak of fall.

The house was just beautiful. We left the sliding glass doors open and enjoyed the sound of the creek running behind the house. The owners were very hospitable and left farm fresh eggs in the fridge along with some drinks and snacks for us. They paid great attention to detail and left plenty of linens and offered nice toiletries. The kitchen was well stocked and even offered coffee and spices to use when we cooked. VERY easy to work with and to contact. Very convenient to downtown Ellijay. Will stay again!
