This was the perfect location for exploring Bardstown and the surrounding distilleries. The hosts were welcoming, fed us extremely well each morning and provided us with great local recommendations.

Wonderful stay at a historic home circa 1817!

David & Susan we’re very welcoming and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. David helped us with our luggage which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful…not just because of the wonderful home cooked meal, big because it allowed time for talking with other guests as well as David and Susan. We heard many stories about Bardstown and about the bourbon trail experiences! Just wonderful!!

Great B & B

We had a nice stay at the Red Rose Inn, bed and breakfast, located within walking distance to the historic Bardstown downtown area. The Inn was built in the early 1800's featuring 4 bedrooms all with private baths ( 1 on the 1st floor and 3 on the 2nd floor), a sitting area and dining room on the main floor and a large deck out back. The deck had 3 separate umbrella tables and chairs! The bedrooms were very spacious. Bathroom was a little tight, though I appreciated more space in the bedroom. Charming antique decor throughout. Hosts, Susan and David were very friendly. Hot breakfast was at 9 in the dining room with all the guests together. Coffee was available at ~7am There is street parking in front and a small parking area behind the house through the alley. The alley was very tight! The street the house is on, is a pretty busy road so you do hear the street noise at bedtime. I didn't find the king bed comfortable, springs seemed a little worn. Bedding and towels were soft and fresh. The whole house was spotlessly clean!

Red Rose Inn

David and Susan’s B&B is everything you could need in a trip to Bardstown. Convenient location, walking distance to restaurants or bars. We were here to do some bourbon trail stops and it was within minutes of several different ones. They allowed us to check in early before our first tasting. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Bardstown

Great Bed & Breakfast in Bardstown

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Red Rose Inn Bed & Breakfast. David and Susan were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed visiting with them upon our arrival and over a very delicious breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. So glad we decided to stay an extra day in Bardstown and that they had an available room. I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone traveling to the Bardstown area.
