Edinburgh eyrie

This is a spacious studio flat at the top of a tenement with 67 stone steps up to the flat so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The flat was very clean and fairly comfortable with plenty of storage and a good size kitchen, reasonably well equipped for a holiday flat. The bathroom is very nice and there is plenty of hot water, but the basin tap is loose. Excellent location just above Princes Street, with a lovely view over Frederick Street, with easy access to city centre and public transport. Two of the windows have been bolted partly open so it is well ventilated!

Lo único que vale la pena del lugar es la ubicación, fuera de eso, le falta mucho mantenimiento, solo hay un calentador pequeño para todo el apartamento. NO es un HOTEL, es un apartamento independiente. Si llevas maletas pesadas prepárate para subir 5 pisos, no apto para personas con daño de columna para cargar equipaje ni personas mayores. Al llegar hay que obtener la llave de una caja de seguridad la cual ya no se ve bien el número de identificación por lo que estuvimos adivinando cuál caja abría con la combinación que nos dieron. Para entrar y salir es un problema, todas las mañana encuentras vagabundos tapando la entrada dormidos. Las puertas están en malas condiciones, no cierran bien. La cama, no es una cama al 100%. Es como una cama que se levanta con colchonetas por lo que el descanso no es de lo mejor. El wifi falla mucho, la red es muy inestable y lenta, por si necesitas hacer algo de trabajo online, no es la mejor opción. Tendrías que bajar a algún café para solucionarlo. Lo único bueno es el baño que es amplio, el agua caliente es muy buena y la cocina cuenta con lo necesario. Estas en el centro y es fácil llegar a todos lados caminando, en bus o tranvía.
