Very clean, good amenities. We were looking forward to using the balcony but unfortunately it faces the wrong way and is on the cold side in the evening. We enjoyed walking around the estuary.

The location was wonderful; buildings were surrounded with beauty including a flourishing garden. Rooms were clean and well-stocked with amenities. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We would have loved to have stayed there longer.

The view was heavenly. Rooms a bit small only a curtain to separate bedroom from lounge. Not many kitchen facilities. Small tv. In short the location a small piece of paradise but motel a bit lacking in some places.

The room was clean and well equipped for a 2 day stay. Microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery was all there. Great views over the water and the pub next door, but not too close. Great food and beer and wine, but dont do breakfasts. Thats a 600 metre walk. Bed was very comfortable. The roo. Was basic but comfy. Would definitely stay there again...we did not need luxury. Ian was a hospitable and helpful host with plenty of tips about the local area. Very glad we stayed there. About 10 mins drive into Akaroa...a very favourite spot on our Sth Island self drive tour.

Room was clean and more than we expected. Lovely view from our balcony. Loved the cottagey feel with flowers all around. Definetly recommend for a weekend away. Close go Akaroa and nice pub next door with good food.

We found this a very peaceful, relaxing place to stay. The garden, sea aspect, and bird-life made this a lovely location. We also really appreciated being able to have our little dog with us. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location on foreshore Some facilities limited self catering .eg no bench cook top (but good micro wave ), no proper dish rack and very limited utensils . Nice gardens but need a spruce up .. loved the resident bellbird !

Great location overlooking a beautiful calm bay and only 10 minutes drive Akaroa. There’s also a great Pub next door. The room had everything we needed and it was very peaceful 👍
