In het begin van de 17de eeuw vergrootte het echtpaar Clant het gebouw tot een U-vormig huis met de ingang naar het oosten. De kamers, waaronder de grote zaal, herenkamer, studeerkamer, slaapkamer, keuken en kelders zijn volledig ingericht met mooie meubelen, zilver, porselein, koperwerk en portretten uit de 17de en 18de eeuw. De vertrekken zijn levendig ingericht alsof ‘de bewoners zo terug kunnen komen’. #architecture

In het schathuis werden vroeger de koetsen en de paarden gestald, werd hooi en andere gewassen opgeslagen, maar er werd eveneens gekookt, bier gebrouwen, kaas gemaakt en de knechten hadden hun eigen kamer.
