Great place to stay

Nice apartments with kitchen area make living here a real comfort compart to your normal hotel room. Friendly staff kept my suit which I had forgotten for over a month until I returned.

Backpacker only

OK to use this hotel if you just need a place to leave your bags for a day. Glad we didn't have to stay overnight. Very dated, gloomy and insects crawling out of grout when the shower was turned on. Only one of the showers provided hot water. OK if you're backpacking for the price but not an enjoyable stay. Much, much better available in Dubai. Lady at check-in was very nice though.

I have stayed there before but the rooms seem to have deteriorated. There was a smell and the humidifier they put in the room didn’t help.

The hotel was amazing the staff superb especially Anwal always smiling, the only thing I found bad about Asfar is the bathroom need some serious cleaning and also to upgrade the old trowels. I will visit there again if I have the chance no doubt.

The experience in Asfar is just ok. the one bedroom apartment is pretty good for atleast four people to occupy. But they need to indicate that in their website. Guest like me will understand if they need to pay extra for additional person in the room. But the overall rating of this hotel is good.

Unsatisfied. I requested for slippers and extra towel but not delivered in the room i even went to the reception but it was no given and informed to deliver on our room but nothing. Also hair blower is not available... router is in the room yet no wifi can be connected. I requested for double bed but they just combined 2single beds.. the room was spacious and clean but poor service and cant comply to customer needs

Large room 7minutes to airport

We were only there fo 9 hours in between flights. Just wanted a place to sleep and shower and that was fine. It was a large room with kitchen but with no tea or coffee making provisions provided. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower was great. The only problem is that the room smelt of cigarette smoke which made me quite congested. There is no restaurant on site and the staff were not very forthcoming in giving us directions to somewhere we could have breakfast. We had to check out and wander the streets and then as someone for a breakfast recommendation which was actually very near our hotel and had amazing food for a very good price

Hotel Apartment for Family with young kid

The hotel is within walking distance to the malls, supermarket and subway. The apartment is equipped with a kitchen and cooking utensils where you can cook meals if so preferred. The apartment is spacious and suited for family with young kids.

I would not recommend staying here due to the noise from the airport, the outdated rooms and the poor management, with the management being the main reason. My wife and I checked in. We had booked a one bedroom. They had none left when we checked in. The front desk staff joyfully said that we had been upgraded. We were pleased. We spent the next day on a day trip to Khasab and were gone until 8:00 PM. We could have been gone longer, but we wanted to change before dinner. When we got back to the hotel, we had been locked out of the room. It turns out that they had rented our “upgraded” room to someone else and needed us to move. Not at our convenience, or the next morning, but right then. They had our cell phone number, but did not bother calling. So we wasted a chunk of our evening packing, moving and unpacking. The management did not seem to understand why this was annoying, or maybe they just did not care. They were willing to sacrifice a guest’s vacation time if it meant a few more dollars for them. The rooms were outdated. Our phone in the bathroom had wires hanging out. The “kitchenette” is a mini fridge and a two burner hot plate. This hotel was the low point of our vacation to Dubai. You would do better staying elsewhere.

Won't be disappointed

Stayed here with family and my son who is two years old. Nice and quite family hotel. No issues with disruption from neighbours. Clean and open spaced for little one to stretch his legs. There is a mall opposite hotel - can change your money here and on the next street there is a huge super market which you can stock up your fridge - milk, water bread cereal etc etc. To get to this you must use the bridge to cross will take around 5-8mins to reach. To get to one of the main streets where there better restaurants and shop in the area, will take around 15mins to walk. I would stay here again because it was value for money and suitable for my son needs. Not forgetting if you decide to stay in the hotel for the day food can be delivered to your room - subway, kfc, McDonald's and/or local foods. Staff friendly and supportive - a credit to them.

Great Value

Had a nice time in Dubai. I love apartment style hotels because I can do my laundry and cook my own food if I chose too. Al Rigga Metro station is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel.

Spacious apartments, close to city centre

Nice apartments very handy to the old centre. Two separate bedrooms so good for family with teenagers. Supermarket 1 block away. Shopping mall 5 min walk. Would stay here again.

Well located but in need of updating

This is not a great hotel but good value for money. There were five adults in our group and this was the only place which did not charge for six. It is located a short walk from red and green line metro stations. Rather shabby in places and urgently needs updating. The apartment was only cleaned on request.
