Good location! We had a great stay ! We enjoyed the beach front view !! The house was comfortable! The only thing was The tub upstairs in the guest room was clogged and we couldn’t use it . I think it can be fixed.

Not great

The view was beautiful, but there was ZERO privacy on the porches. The porches (balcony, whatever you want to call it) had no privacy, you could literally see inside several units beside you. The steps going down from the top porch to the bottom were almost broken, the first step was tilted down and my whole family tripped multiple times going downthe stairs, not safe at all. The place seemed clean, but it smelled of mold and mildew. We all had to wash our clean clothes that stayed in our bags because of the awful mildew smell AFTER we got home from our trip.Under the sink in the kitchen was a bowl to catch the leak, it was very obvious the sink had leaked for a long time. All 3 bathtubs were not very clean, hair in and around them. The bottom level smelled very strongly of mold/mildew. The toilet seat was broken, the condensation was so bad there was a constant drip from the bathroom vent. The master bed had no fitted sheet, just a mattress protector. The company quickly brought us a new set of sheets. Everyone i talked to was very pleasant and helpful. The property itself was just absolutely not worth the price.

Great location, problematic house

The location is perfection. That was what made the trip for us. But we had a few pretty serious issues with the house. When we first walked downstairs we were met with a really strong dank and musty smell. A couple of our friends opted to sleep on the couch upstairs because they couldn't tolerate the smell. When we got home everything we had brought with us smelled musty. There was a leak in the kitchen sink that resulted in water pouring out when we washed dishes. There was another leak in the ceiling in the kitchen. When someone would shower on the third floor it would leak right above the coffee maker. The first time we noticed this plaster had fallen down onto the counter as well. You could see they had patched it up many times. Towards the end of our trip I decided I should let the property manager know, even though you could tell these were long standing problems. They decided they needed to come over right away to address these problems, and they insisted they had know idea any of this was an issue before this. There is no way that's possible with as bad as these issue were. Ultimately that is up to the owners of the home, not property management.We started finding cockroaches all over the house too. I know cockroaches exist. But I also know if you don't treat them they get into your house and they become a problem.The house is cute, the private beach is amazing. Hopefully they get those issues in order, because it could be an ideal vacation spot.

Fabulous family vacation

Everything was just as listed! The house is clean and in a fabulous location. Who doesn't want to wake up and sit on the deck, drinking coffee and watching dolphins! Just a few steps to the white sandy beach, crystal clear water. The management company was immediately available when we had a question. A wonderful handy man we met and had awesome conversations. Overall we were absolutely happy with the stay. A place to come back to!

loved the house was really surprised that we had a private beach that we shared with others who were staying next door lots of stairs but we were used to that only negative was back porch was not water proof and all our towels, suits, etc got wet when it rained thanks so much for the wonderful beach experience

A Beachy Keen week

The house was perfect for our family. Our daughter and her family loved the lower level with 4 children. The bunk room was perfect for their 3 boys. The access to the beach, and privacy was awesome. We loved our week and look forward to returning!!

Best Vacation!

Super super clean home right on the beach. Three beautiful decks overlooking the ocean. Two chairs and an umbrella set up for us every day. Private beach patrolled by security!! Kitchen has everything you need to cook, Publix and Whole Foods nearby. Or walk to several restaurants if you don’t want to cook. It rained one day but we went to the outlet mall 10 minutes away. Best Vacation, can’t wait to come back.

Beachy Keen is Beachy Perfect!

We had the best girls trip to Destin and staying at Beachy Keen! The townhome is well stocked with all your basic needs, beautiful decorations, great condition and the beach is at your doorstep! Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back!

Fall Break

Location was perfect! The place had everything we needed to cook big meals, plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Unit was clean and the check in/out process was perfect. Plan on staying here again next year.

February Family Fun

If you want to be as close to the beach as you can get then this property is for you. We enjoyed the view of the beach from all rooms and the sound of the waves at night. The first floor a/c did not work well and it was pretty warm during the day in that area but we did not bring it to the manager's attention so we can't really fault them. If you are coming with toddlers I would suggest bringing a infant gate for the stairs. We had 4 under the age of 3 so we had our hands full! Overall we loved the time spent at this property with our grandkids!

Paradise found!

Beautiful property with every amenity needed. The view from the home is worth every penny. Perfect location to watch sunrise AND sunset and away from the hustle and bustle. The private beach meant we didn’t need to worry about saving our spot. Plenty of room for everyone. The property manager responded quickly to our questions. It was hard to leave, but it is a getaway that we would definitely do again (and we usually don’t go to the same spot twice).

Great place and layout for a family

Return customers and will go back again affordable and user friendly floor plan for large families, slightly disappointed the private beach is not enforced well. Always had outside folks drag their setup in front of our unit.

Wonderful Experience, Fabulous Condo

We rented this condo last minute due to problems with a different condo. The condo itself is amazing, so close to the beach! The management company was great to work with also. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location!

My family and I enjoyed our stay so much! The property was perfect for us. The elevator, though slow, was a great bonus too. We were so happy with how close we were to the beach. Right on top of it. The views from every floor were amazing. We would definitely stay here again. The bunk room is super small but it wasn’t an issue for our daughter at all. She stayed in that room and enjoyed her privacy. Definitely happy with our pick!!

Really enjoyed our stay but there was a awful smell that came and went.

Love the place and location however there is a grate in the sidewalk outside the front door that must be something for the the entire complex that caused an awful smell so not sure we would stay in this unit again but would definitely stay at Green Reed again.
