Ubicado en la calle St. El edificio Maarten en Silver Shells Beach Resort & Spa en el corazón de Destin, este condominio en el piso 11 con más de 2,000 pies cuadrados de área de estar ofrece impresionantes vistas al golfo, hermosos amaneceres y magníficas puestas de sol.

Las lujosas actualizaciones, completadas por nuevos propietarios en marzo de 2015, harán las delicias y deslumbrarán sus sentidos desde el momento en que llegue. Los suaves tonos de marfil y los suaves acentos de agua fluyen por toda la unidad, complementando las espectaculares aguas turquesa y las arenas blancas como el polvo de la costa de Destin. Estos dos dormitorios tienen grandes puertas corredizas de vidrio a un balcón privado compartido orientado al norte con asientos al aire libre.

El amplio balcón frente al golfo está amueblado con lujosos muebles de exterior nuevos y es accesible tanto desde la sala de estar como desde la suite principal. Ya sea que prefiera el brillo de los amaneceres costeros hacia el este o el romance de las impresionantes puestas de sol hacia el oeste, el balcón frente al golfo es el lugar para comenzar y terminar cada día.

Great ocean view condo

The condo is great! Everything was clean, had amazing views, and direct beach access. We did have to buy our own beach / pool towels to use. You can rent an umbrella/beach chairs or take the chairs from the condo to the beach and save on the rentals. Overall great stay and would book again!

Family Time!

We enjoyed a long weekend at the condo. We were at the perfect height for a Birds Eye view of the pelicans flying by. Enjoyed the beach, pool and condo. The nearby restaurant, The Back Porch, was easy to walk to and get some family meals quickly!

Beautiful day place to stay

This condo is absolutely beautiful. The views of the beach are amazing. Everything is very clean and there is a lot of space to stretch out. The kitchen is fully stocked and made making Thanksgiving dinner a breeze. I enjoyed spending the holiday here with my family. I’d love to come back here again.

The check in process is not one we are use to. I don’t think you should have to drive to get keys/return especially when everyone is tired and ready to go. The place was fine but could use some updates. But looks as pictured. We had one key that wouldn’t work and I messaged immediately and they stated they would bring a new one however after several messages each day no one ever brought one. Still whatever enjoying our trip. However our last day I was changing my infant on the floor and a giant and I mean giant cockroach came right passed us. Overall leaving grossed out. This place isn’t the worst but definitely not the best.

Beach with besties

3 couples on an end of the year beach getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at silver shells. The beds were comfy, great location and fun times were had! The only down fall to our stay was the condo seemed to have a musty smell. There was definitely a lot of moisture in the air as we plugged in the dehumidifier an emptied the water quite often. The other was the coffee pot didn’t work. There was a back up but it took about 45 min to make a full pot .Other than that the condo was perfect and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful Condo!

This was our first time in Destin and we could not have picked a better place to stay! The condo was beautiful and the gulf views were perfection! Everything from reserving, check-in, and check-out went as planned. The condo was comfortable and well stocked with everything (dishes, pans, utensils, etc.) we needed. We loved the parking garage space and easy access to the elevator and pool. We look forward to staying here again!

Family Trip 2023

We stayed at this resort last year and loved it, so we had to come a 2nd time. We booked this room so we would have a beach view. The condo is beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen is ready for anything you need and is so organized! We love Silver Shells for its location and amazing amenities. The beach bar and beach service really save the day if you don’t feel like going up to your room for food and drinks. The only downfall was the rip tides. Mother Nature did not want anyone in the water this week!

Most beautiful Condo in Destin!!!!

This Condo was absolutely beautiful! The wrap around balcony with emerald view coast was breathtaking! Huge Master that was separate from the other two bedrooms for privacy. All three bedrooms had full baths. Extremely spacious and newly renovated! Five Stars and we will be back!!

Wonderful vacation!

The condo was exactly as described - beach is absolutely beautiful! It does seem as if you can’t use your own beach chairs and the rentals can be a bit pricey but it honestly makes for an uncluttered beach atmosphere which was very nice. I would definitely recommend this property

water damage evident

The condo is in a great location I can see how they could possibly have renters year round. Upon arrival we were given wrong parking information. This prompted security to find us, accuse us of parking in the wrong place. We were given the wrong information on our check in package. We had to spend our fist day dealing with this. We entered into the condo and we could smell mold and water damage right away. They do hv a dehumidifier running which is obviously needed. The primary suite bathroom did not have a working shower, the tub was also broken. We checked in on saturday and the shower was not working for three nights of our stay. The bath tub was never operating. So we had two small showers for two families of four, not ideal. The maintenance team did come and fix both showers, bc the guest shower was not working either. The last day someone flooded the main elevator and we were unable to use it. There was another one in another area, very thankful. This condo could really be amazing if the primary suite continued to work and they get the tub fixed. The tub looks like it needs to be replaced. I am not sure what they can do about the apparent water damage? The floor near the main bathroom was buckling. The location is suburb, there was enough space, if only those few things could be amended I would agree to pay the top fee like we did. Some people might be excited about the large tub for themselves or kids so it would be ideal that it works. It seemed most condos came with a pre-paid set of chairs and umbrella. That would have been a nice touch or if the local rental company would have offered to pay for those bc of the other inconvenience.

Destin Trip with grandkids

The condo was wonderful and just as pictured. We loved the location. The resort was great with the pool and hot tub being everyone’s favorite. Our only complaint was having to drive the 6 extra miles to get the keys and to take them back. If they could have a drop box there at the property this would definitely be a 5 star rental.

Never again with this rental agency !

Pre arrival communication was non existent except for one phone call 3 hours before we arrived requesting the signed paperwork that we never received. Check in was a nightmare. We had to drive across town in heavy traffic to pick up our key fobs from a lock box. No instructions as how to actually use them in the proper elevator. Finally received assistance from the HOA manager. One key fob was “dead” which later left one of us stranded in the elevator. (not good for anyone with claustrophobia) At about 11pm one of the smoke alarms began to sound every 30 seconds. We called 4 phone numbers. No answer so we left messages. (Which were returned at 2pm the next day) The “24 hour “ security had left. We walked to their office. Finally, I removed the loud obnoxious annoyance from the wall with a broom.! They replaced it the next afternoon. We never received a replacement key fob. Upon check out you must again drive across town to return the key fobs to the lock box. If we had not had these issues I would have given this lovely condo 5stars! The view was gorgeous, the home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well furnished with all the cooking paraphernalia one might need. We would love to return BUT ONLY IF THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY WERE DIFFERENT!!!

Beautiful place, terrible communication

My family an I thought the room was really nice and the grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately, the checkin process and any type of communication was horrible. I had read the reviews and saw that people had some issues with checkin so I deliberately made an extra effort to call and talk to someone and sent messages to make sure we didn’t have problems. Despite my efforts, after a 13+ hour drive with 2 car loads of tired travelers, loads of luggage to unpack and very tired and unhappy infant, we drove to the destination as we were instructed. We were looking for a lock box that the person I spoke with earlier in the day said was behind the building. When we arrived, the guard said there was no lock box. Come to find out, the lock box was on the other side of town behind the office of the management company at an address that I had never seen or heard of in my efforts to get the proper information. In addition, once we got to the room (finally). We were greeted with smoke detectors loudly beeping. We tried to replace batteries only to find they were hard wired and out of warranty and the entire network of detectors in our unit needed replaced. Through multiple efforts to communicate, the problem and urgency of the problem, the alarms were replaced 3 days later with only smoke detectors and not CO2/smoke detectors that were once there. On top of this, half way into the week, the faucet on the master bathroom garden tub would not turn off because it broke. Luckily the men in my family are handy and were able to find and shut off the water valve to the tub and avoid a flooding. After multiple attempts at contacting people to get it fixed, including directly contacting the nice maintenance man (who said a professional plumber was needed), we gave up on it and it never got fixed. All of this was quite unfortunate, because as I stated, the place was beautiful and we would consider staying there again if the communication was not so terrible.

Beautiful condo!

The condo was perfectly located on the beach and super clean and well equipped. The views from the windows and balcony were spectacular. Our problem there, which was huge, was that the unit above us was being remodeled while we were there. The first day we endured pounding over our heads, which kept us from napping after our trip down there, and the second day there was deafening drilling or high pitched machines of some sort. It was no fault of the owners, but it seems like there should be better communication between owners and the building management. Very unfortunate for us. The communication with the owners's rep was great, but nothing was done to make amends. Also, the check in instructions sent to us said that we could have access to our unit upon arrival, but in fact we had to drive out to their office in order to get our keys after the fact. Very confusing.

great place

The property itself is excellent, very comfortable, easy to get to beach, beautiful views. However the list company, Best Beach Getaways, is horrible at communication. Make sure you call them before you arrive to confirm whether you can go straight to the property or if you need to go to their office to get the keys.
