Management is easy to work with and available on site. Beach service (Grant) was very accommodating and I love that beachside bar service (Jessica) is an added amenity! Our condo was clean and ready thanks to housekeeper, Debbie! Silver Dunes staff is absolutely awesome. Looking forward to our stay again next summer.

We loved the location of the unit - It was close enough to enjoy the beach/gulf view but we could also see the pool and grassy area where the kids play. Right in between the elevator and stairs. The unit is FULLY stocked and everything is in working order. The decor is beautiful! Super clean. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked beautifully. Would love to rent this unit again!

It is so convenient to be so close to the beautiful white sandy beach. The condo was perfect for our stay and we love that the complex offers a pickleball court. Never disappointed with visiting the Destin area!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd year renting B1401 for Jan/Feb and we signed up for 2025! The view out the kitchen window is spectacular. We often see dolphins passing by. We were the first ones in after the owners updated the kitchen and bathrooms. They did a wonderful job and checked in with us to make sure all the new fixtures and appliances were working out. We really like the small feeling of the Silver Dunes complex. B1401 is a beautiful place to be!

The covered side porch was big with a ceiling fan overlooking grassy area on side and gulf front not far! Condo had all conveniences & not too high up on 4th floor. Will definitely be back for longer stay next time. Only negative was checkout was 9am. Asked a few times for later, nobody ever responded & that was disappointing!

It would be the perfect place for families as it had a huge courtyard with lots of activities going on every night the condo was a little dated but convertible.

There were stains on the rug and couch in the living area. The bathroom rugs were worn. There was curtain hardware still attached to the wall without drapes in living area. It is in bad need of a paint job. We stayed in this unit because the property management moved us. We originally had chosen another more updated unit. Beware that this could happen. The view of the beach was nice.

The absolute worse place to stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived on January 1st to be told there is no elevator for our 4 th floor unit we have rented for two months. Absolutely no help from staff to carry our loaded car of things. It took my husband ( who had a recent heart valve surgery), and myself (and I had shoulder replacement surgery in October). Derek (I believe that was his name) told us if you don’t like it then you should leave but you won’t get any refund. 10 days and no elevator. The unit had moldy drapes and mold in cupboards and on ceilings. I had maintenance remove drapes and clean ceilings. We had no drapes to cover sliding glass door in living room our entire stay. The construction noise started at 7 am and went until 5 pm. It was terrible. We have stayed at silver dunes three years prior and while it is old it use to be at least clean. The furniture was dirty and stained and old. The office manager Derek was terrible to other snowbirds and should be fired. Regardless after four years we have found a cleaner place to stay next year.

Reviewer Comments: We just enjoyed another great year at SILVER DUNES & still marvel at the COOL SUGARY SAND & the emerald blue water in front of a 3 story condo, the well organized uncrowded beach compared to the high rises on the rest of the beach. We enjoy 1 row of umbrellas compared to the 5-6 row deep umbrella rows in front of the high rises. IT IS THE BEST RELAXED VACATION!!

No more silver dunes

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth year staying at silver dunes and our last. No elevator for ten days. Carrying all our things up 48 steps was exhausting for my husband and myself. Absolutely no help from staff. The “manager” Derek said no refund no discount. The mold in our unit was awful. I asked to have drapes removed and replaced. Housekeeping took down drapes but manager would not replace so we had no drapes for the two months we were there. We had to have mold cleaned from ceiling wall and floor twice and it still came back. The construction on the outside of the building for the two months we were there was constantly loud dusty and started at 7 am an d continued until after 5 pm. Manager said if you don’t like it leave and no refund. What a terrible experience. We never will stay in that dump again. Awful terrible and health department should have the whole complex tore down. Elevator temporary inspection expired on February 10, but was still being used on February 27. Isn’t there a fine for that?

Pristine vacation spot

Arrived in town for a soccer tournament and decided to make it an extended stay. The property was perfect — great for a family getaway.

Great stay at Silver Dunes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great fall break at Silver Dunes. The unit met all of our needs and the facility was very family friendly. Our kids enjoyed playing in the grass courtyard with other kids and then in the pool in the evenings. The beach may be the best part. When looking at the high rise facilities next door and their crowded beaches, it made us even happier that we stayed at Silver Dunes with just one row of chairs and no crowds.

Like other reviews, the kitchen window has the best beach and Gulf view. We have always loved our time at Silver Dunes but wish the date for the Fall rates would have remained the same.
