Welcome to The Denver Farmhouse, a recently renovated former general store and post office circa 1899, set in the gorgeous western Catskills countryside, a 2.5hr drive from NYC. Original hardwood floors and a scandi farmhouse design style create a cozy, peaceful country oasis.

Our ground floor boasts a large king bedroom, full bathroom with standing shower, living area with fireplace, dining table, and stocked kitchen, making it the perfect option for those who may have some mobility issues. The 2nd floor consists of another large king bedroom, peaceful queen bedroom, twin room/office combo (with no true door), TV room with huge sectional, 2nd full bathroom with tub/shower, and laundry room. Enjoy a record player and Sonos stereo system throughout the house that you can connect your music accounts to. The property includes a classic red barn, chiminea, outdoor dining area, charcoal & gas grills, fire pit, hammock, and pastoral mountain views and is encompassed by fieldstone walls and hydrangea bushes, giving the property a quaint English garden feel. Spend snowy nights cozied up in front of the fireplace with a cocktail and puzzle, listening to records, and spend warm summer evenings gathered around the outdoor dining table and chiminea, grilling underneath the string lights. Or take a quick drive to nearby hiking, skiing, coffee shops, breweries, and some of the Catskills’ best restaurants!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE To be clear, the property sits at the corner of two country roads so there is truck noise. To access the grass yard you have to walk around the edge of the driveway and up a sloped hill.
There is little to no cell service at the house. We suggest enabling wifi calling on your phone and downloading a map of the surrounding area in Maps before you get to Denver. Upon booking, you’ll receive a detailed area guide created by us.
We are a no shoe household and ask that you treat our home as if it were your own, leaving it as you found it.
There are ceiling fans in all of the 2nd floor rooms.
Well behaved dogs must be pre-approved by us. We provide food and water bowls and towels to wipe paws. We charge a one time pet fee of $75, but guests will be charged for any additional damage. Dogs are never allowed on furniture and particularly not in beds. We ask that pet owners clean up after their dogs both inside and outside of the house. Sorry, we cannot allow cats. Please note, we do not have a fenced-in yard.
We provide 1 roll of paper towels, 4 rolls of toilet paper, soap, sponge, trash bags, olive oil, salt & pepper, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some general cleaning products. When the provided supply is gone guests should purchase what they need for the remainder of their stay.
