This is an old hotel. There’s no way around that. But at least in the room we had it was clean and somewhat updated. There are a few updates that could still be done in the bathroom, but we have no complaints. The fridge worked well and the room was quite spacious. The space of what it seemed in the pics was why we chose this hotel over another one in the area because their rooms are very small (like couldn’t hardly walk around the bed as it took up the whole room small). We were very pleased that the room was as spacious as it appeared in the pics. The AC worked wonderfully and the mattress was very comfy. Overall for the price we would definitely consider staying here again as it gives us the ability to have a few days away to visit family without being crowded in with family.
Only detraction I had was that we booked a King room for a reason, and upon check in the guy seemed like he wanted me to agree to a Queen room that was on the first floor. (I wasn’t aware it was a two level hotel, but the end with our Non-Smoking King room was indeed two floors.) I said, no we would take the King room we booked. Not sure what that was about, but the stairs were easy to navigate and I’m glad I decided to keep the room as is. Also, if you’re staying here, please respect their pet policy. It seems that some people are disrespecting that rule and that it’s created problems for people who are just a small business owner. Don’t be those people who do that. It’s rude.
