owner charged additional fee 2 weeks before checkin. I had I paid in full when I booked it 5 months prior. I contacted VRBO, they said it was wrong. They said to pay and they reimbursed me extra cleaning fee.THEN a few days before check in date, reservation was cancelled, he stated to VRBO previous guest did damage. Vrbo helped me find a new place, they were great. While I was searching for new location, I see this place is available! I contacted owner, asking if damage was repaired. He told me he had no idea, that I was the one who cancelled! I absolutely had Vrbo email stating the host cancelled. I asked if available, it was for a higher price! This was for a busy event week in Daytona, Jeep Beach. Still I asked about availability, he said it was rented, but it still showed available. Clearly this host can't tell the truth! But VRBO had my back all the way.Renter beware, this host plays games! I would never trust to book it again with him! I have all conversations recorded in email and chat history.
