Great location to all activities in and around Canaan. House has all the amenities, plus many thoughtful touches like travel size shampoos, soaps, etc. The back covered porch looks like an amazing area to spend time during spring-summer-fall with a flat top grill, tv, and plenty of sitting. Unfortunately, only gave it a quick look in the sub-zero temps this trip. But would definitely enjoy at other times.

Good home base for outdoor fun

Our family of four stayed for two nights and used this as a home base for a skiing at White Grass, tubing at Canaan Valley Resort, and hiking at Blackwater Falls State Park. The home was well-appointed, and the hosts were very welcoming... they live right next door and are available to help if needed. The home is full lovely antique furniture and was very comfortable for us. Love that they are dog friendly!
