This was a classic bait and switch. The photos of the hotel may have been real but they were extremely old. To start with the opening to thr street is wide open, no door or other security measures. Anyone on the street can walk right in a up to the rooms which only lock with a standard key. It was dingy, dusty and outdated my first clue was the paper book check in. The bathroom floor and shower were dirty. There was even a soap dispenser with a layer of dirt on top of it and a old tattered hand towel folded at the entrance from the bathroom to the bedroom. The house shoes looked like they were about 10 years old and had been worn by multiple people over the years. The TV had a layer of dirt on it and the balcony furniture looked like it had not been used in years. 10 minutes after arriving we made a reservation elsewhere and lost our money for 4 nights but there was no question about if we should stay due to the condition of the property, and lack of safety features. Once we drug our luggage back downstairs it took us over 30 minutes to get transportation to our new hotel due to be so far away from central Hoi An. Clearly I would NOT recommend anyone stay at this hotel
