Perched at the end of a private road, this restored 1760's captain's cottage offers seclusion and luxury with an ode to Maines' dramatic coastline. Featured on Discovery Plus - Magnolia network - Point of View a Designer Profile. Season 2 episode 5. Coasters' Chance has been in the Moore family for over 30 years, and has finally returned to its former glory with a modern twist. A recently renovated barn transforms this captain's cottage into an entertaining paradise. Positioned on its own peninsula overlooking Cutler harbor, Coasters Chance offers more than just a getaway. With private access to Bold Coast hiking trails, 190 degrees of waterfront and complimentary fresh lobsters delivered by the locals themselves, we promise you'll leave your heart in Maine.
190 degree water views, secluded location, private access to hiking trails, gourmet kitchen, complimentary fresh lobsters for one night, close to Puffin Tours and Whale Watching.
NOTES: The cottage sleeps 8 comfortably—with 3 bedrooms. One with a King suite, one with a Queen suite. The kids room upstairs is located off the original 1700's staircase. She is very steep so we recommend only kids & young adults stay up there. This room has two single beds & 1 double bed, each separated from one another with a bathroom. All bedrooms are incredibly well-appointed.
The large barn conversion & main bedroom upstairs are not winterized. We suggest from Oct 1st onwards that the house only sleeps 6 unless the weather is fabulous.

Pets must be approved by Moore House prior to booking and require acknowledgment of our pet policy and payment of our pet fee.

We enjoyed our stay in Cutler. It's a beautiful, rustic home located on the harbor overlooking the water. It's very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed watching the lobster boats come and go into the harbor. The complimentary lobsters for the bake was great, with Jeremy delivering fresh lobsters right to our door. The hiking trails were excellent and easily accessible. Our host was great, and the check-in / check-out process was quick and easy. I would definitely stay there again and hope that we can return to Cutler in the near future. I don't have many suggestions, although it does get warm in the master bedroom on the 2nd floor and it was hard to cool with no screens in the door or windows (we were fortunate to have warm, sunny weather).
