5 Weaver's Cottage - a sumptuous cottage for two
Frame Farm enjoys an idyllic position in a peaceful, rural valley below the pretty village of Benenden in Kent’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set in 22 acres of rolling sheep pasture, 5 Weaver's Cottage have been refurbished to an exceptionally standard throughout and now provides an ideal romantic hideaway for couples looking for luxurious accommodation. This magnificent, sustainably-run building stands in celebration of the Wealden cloth trade that once dominated this part of Kent.
The cottage has been finished impeccably and is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and classical furnishings that offer elegance, comfort and luxury. A delightfully designed open plan living area, with floor to ceiling glass windows and doors, leads to a sumptuous bedroom with a modern 4 poster bed. It is furnished to a high standard with your comfort in mind and with a dressing table, light, mirrors and hairdryer provided. The bathroom features both a bath for relaxing in as well as an invigorating walk in shower.
The cottage’s South facing terrace is perfect for an alfresco drink, or enjoy a BBQ whilst watching the sun set down the sheep valley from The Byre’s terrace.
Naturally cocooned by the landscape, and dating from 1607, Weaver's Cottages sit in a cosy, secluded position to provide a true haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The gardens have been planted with care and consideration to give them a delicate, natural feel that is in keeping with our wider environment. Grasses and ferns provide shelter and texture, while perennials offer vibrant colour throughout the year. The lily pond is the ideal retreat for some peaceful reflection accompanied by the relaxing sound of the waterfall.
Countryside walks through fields and forests surround the farm, and the pretty village of Benenden with The Bull at Benenden and the Woodcock pub are only a short stroll away. There is plenty to do in this picturesque part of Kent with the historic towns of Cranbrook and Tenterden close by. There are some outstanding restaurants and many interesting attractions including Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, Great Dixter, Scotney and Bodiam Castles, Bodiam Boating Station and Bedgebury Pinetum. It is a vibrant wine region and home to Chapel Down, Gusbourne, Woodchurch and Hush Heath to name just a few of the local vineyards. Also, within half an hour is the seaside town of Rye and Camber Sands, with its five miles of fine golden sand.
For group holidaying, Frame Farm is the ideal location with a total of 6 cottages sleeping up to 20 people. For a group booking, The Byre is available for communal dining with a large dining table seating 20 and a spacious terrace for barbecues. For parties and events, The Oak Barn, a magnificent grade II listed barn provides the perfect venue. The barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and can seat approximately 134 guests for formal dining with additional capacity for evening receptions.

Wonderful place
Weavers Cottage is a lovely place to stay, on a peaceful and scenic farm with friendly, helpful hosts. The location is excellent with many gardens, houses, castles and vineyards to visit, some good walking locally and some excellent restaurants and pubs. We really could not have had a better place to stay.

Indian summer in Kent
Ideal location for visiting a large number of houses and gardens. Short, if steep, walk to pub in pretty Benenden village. Well appointed cottage. Friendly, helpful team. Highly recommended.

Great base for the Weald
We stayed a week in the property and used this as a base to travel both locally and slightly further afield, including Canterbury and the Coast. Property well kept and in a nice location, within a 10 minutes walk of two pubs, The Bull and Woodcock, both recommended for a drink and a bite to eat. The property is a converted Oast House, and 5 units available. We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit, which for a couple we found perfect for our needs. Also on site is a separate barn, which would normally be used for Weddings, but current climate makes this difficult
