The mobile home site is amazing! The water comes right up to the house and the views of the bay are stunning. We loved the colorful decor and the comfort of the furnishings- they have really fixed this old place up beautifully.Unfortunately, our arrival was not ideal as we could not get the keypad to work. By the time we waited on hold with Vacasa for 10 minutes and tried different things, eventually resorting to a temperamental key, we had been out in the cold for half an hour. Then we were shocked VERY early in the morning (5?) by the noisy unloading of shellfish bins 2 doors up. There is a business there that then runs trucks right up behind this house. It sounded like trash trucks slamming cans and loud engines all morning. Not happy campers. Maybe this is seasonal? I can't believe the noise hasn't been mentioned more.The showers and showerheads had mold and stains that were pretty disgusting. One was just too gross to use.We asked for a little grace for the check out time, since we hadn't had much sleep for the 2 nights because of all the noise, but Vacasa wouldn't even grant us that.Also, there were no trespassing signs on the beach, so we couldn't even take a walk on the beautiful bay.Coupeville is close by and is a lovely, friendly town. We had a great time there! But next time we'll definitely stay elsewhere.
