This property is new/renovated and a short walk to the town centre. The bed was comfortable and there was a kitchenette. I would choose to stay here again.

The room was very clean and well provisioned. Real great access to town. Incredible Jacuzzi and very warm shower. David the owner also was very kind and gave us guidance on local adventures to see. Great stay.

Good space (table, sofa area) two single beds in the kitchen/ sitting area and a king in the separate room. Share bathroom. Laundry facilities (NZD2 coins). No distance to town - easily walkable - with a good range of dining options available in the town. Owner very pleasant on both the check in and out.

After a week travelling through Northland, we found that David and Olive Motel was the best of all. Having the owner on site is a big plus too. David gave us the best advice re dinner and breakfast dining options. The motel was extremely clean, modern,conveniently situated, plus, and this is a big one, the shower did not leak water on the floor!! Very impressed - and made Coromandel a delight to stay at. Thank you.

The owner assigned our unit parking spot to another guest when we were out of motel. When we inquired about it, he responded angrily, telling me to find another place to park. I decided to leave the motel as I felt uneasy. I checked out of the motel a day early, even though I had paid for an extra night. I did not request a refund. Additionally, there was no soap or shampoo in the motel. It is highly overrated and overpriced. I will not return there.

Nice for a short stay. Good location to get into town. The noise on the main road was a bit loud and there is no privacy whatsoever since most all the rooms face the parking lot and the one window faces all the parked cars and people. That is the only downside. Bed was very comfortable and coffee was delish.
