Good option for reasonably priced accommodation within walking distance to many things. Downside was no bath mat for shower or towels when you go to the pool and charges to use facilities add up very quickly

Great amenities, but just ok room

Steel House offered various amenities which were nice. There was a game room, movie theater, bar, pool, etc. The rooms left a little to be desired. You did receive a bath towel included with your stay, no hand towel. The main issue was when you went to take a shower the automatic light in the bathroom would turn off and you would have to open the shower doors to wave your hand to make the light turn on (every 2-3 minutes) which was obnoxious and really inconvenient. Also the lockers for your stuff didn’t lock properly so even if you had a lock on it, someone could still turn it and get in.

This is a great hostel. Rooms are cleaned everyday and that’s why the bathroom is nice and clean. I stayed at a room for 4 guests and it had it’s own bathroom. An easy walk to the central train station of Copenhagen and also Tivoli Park and the main square. The atmosphere at the cafeteria is very vibrant. A nice place to stay in Copenhagen if you’re on a budget.

We loved staying at the Steel House! We booked a private room for four people. It was small, but had what we needed. The bar downstairs is lots of fun to hang out at, and the kitchen facility is great! We also loved renting bikes for the day from the hostel - pretty good price too. Great area and easy to get to popular sites in the city as transit is nearby. We didn't pay for any of the amenities other than bikes and kitchen, but there is a pool, gym, etc. that you can pay to use. Great vibes overall!

I liked the area and the staff. The bathroom light was too bright. It should have wooden door instead of glass. Too bright and noisy when roommates take showers after 11 pm!
