The building, the cleanliness and the room was exceptional. My room was perfect.
I was very surprised at the staff, not friendly, not welcoming and I honestly felt like was not welcome. The only polite staff that noticed me was the housekeepers and the maintenance' staff member. When I checked in there was
Never a welcome to CDA. Though I felt like most locals treat visitors not so well. Even though I lived in the area 20 years ago and my son is finishing school there, I was never thanked or was wished well in and out everyday. The breakfast was almost the on same everyday with terrible sausage and same eggs. One day hard French toast, another day cold microwave potatoes.
I have stayed at the holiday inn express across the road 2 years back to back, the building and rooms were not as new but the staff was welcoming and attentive. The food is awesome. Sorry to leave a negative review but, the housekeepers should be welcoming visitors instead of the front desk clerks who should not be representing a marriot location. To even make worse upon my checkout I never even was thanked to staying. This is my first as a bonvoy member.
