We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sweet Retreat! Host Patty was sweet, responsive, and made the whole experience seamless from start to finish.The cabin is awesome cozy, beautifully decorated, and offering stunning views of Yonah Mountain. We especially loved the charming plaque inside that tells the touching story of the Indian princess Nacoochee, and her love from another tribe Sautee, a Chickasaw warrior. It added such a unique historical touch.We used the hot tub hourly it was pure bliss after long days! We also enjoyed a fun game on the pool table. Evenings were magical as we roasted s’mores at the outdoor fire pit and relaxed under the stars. The woods around the cabin were beautiful for peaceful walks, where we spotted plenty of squirrels, birds, and even one beautiful deer.We spent two wonderful days exploring Helen, and the local wineries were easily accessible from the cabin. The location turned out to be even better than staying directly in Helen we loved the privacy and serenity so much that we’ve already decided: if availability permits, we’ll always choose this cabin first next time!Sweet Retreat exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing, scenic mountain getaway. Thank you, Patty—we can’t wait to return!

The hot tub was great! The fireplace in the main room with the kitchen came on fine one time but the next time we turned the timer to about 20 min it never came on. Timer clocked on down but no fire. Pilot light was on! Might want to check that out. The place was super clean and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A suggestion for the future. A blind on the door leading to back porch where the grill is. Even though it’s up high the neighbors can still see in if they have binoculars or the lights are on inside. We found a couple of hangers and threaded a blanket through them and hung them on the top edge of the frame.

Highly recommend, such a beautiful little getaway! Pefect for my husband I to get away for a few days. It was centrally located near everything we wanted to see, clean, and well stocked. We didnt even leave one day just enjoyed the cabin itself. Thank you for sharing your home!!

This will be a nuanced review.For a couple this is a Five star cabin. We loved the pool table, fireplace, and bedding. The location was central to everything we wanted to do in the area. The host communication was great, and they provided a digital guest book with instructions for all the appliances.I think the only way you could be disappointed is if your party is bigger than 2. Yes, there is a queen sized bed upstairs, but there is no dresser, and no curtains on the glass patio door. Also, the dining table is small and there is no dishwasher. I would not want to hand wash dishes for an entire family.That said, we were a party of two, and we loved it.

Everything about this property was awesome. I loved the location close enough to everything but the quiet and privacy was priceless. Owner is very quick to respond. I love when things are labeled and the downloadable info for the house and surrounding area was fantastic takes the guesswork out of picture. The beds were super comfy, the water pressure good, internet was quick, extra amenities were awesome to have like the firepit, hot tub and pool table. I highly recommend this place.

We loved the cabin. We slept in the king bed and was comfortable. We grilled out twice and cooked breakfast one morning and every was great. The water pressure in the shower was good. It was so peaceful and quite in and out of the cabin. We saw deers. We didnt use the hottub but we did test the water and it was hot. Love the area the cabin was in.

Very cozy and comfortable! My wife loved the decorations. The beds are comfortable, it’s easy to sleep in with the blackout curtains downstairs. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing listening to the rain and playing pool. Kitchen had everything we needed and loved the coffee bar. Everything is less than 30 minutes away, enjoyed Helen, Clarksville, Cleveland and Dahlonega. The Host is very helpful and responsive to any questions! We will stay here again!

The Perfect Get-A-Way

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations! The owners truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. Mrs. Patty was a pleasure to work with—friendly, responsive, and personable. The cabin had all the comforts of home and then some. It was super clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The décor was so cute—lots of bears and something quaint everywhere I turned, which made it feel extra special. It’s just a short drive from Helen, GA, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel peaceful and private. I would 100 percent book this cabin again. As far as stars go, this is a ten out of ten! If you want to relax in comfort, this is the place.

The Sweetest Retreat!

I literally cannot rave enough about this beautiful cabin! The pictures don’t even do it justice. There were so many beautiful touches and the decor was impeccable. The cabin is nestled in a wooded area and we were greeted with ginormous deer every night and morning. There were lightning bugs lighting up the woods every night. The hot tub, pool table, and fire pit were such lovely amenities. We did not want to leave! Thank you for having us and providing such a sweet retreat indeed! God bless!

Impressed Us All

We had a party of three. All of us are women and cleanliness is vital! This cabin is better than what is shown through pictures. It has all amenities shown such as the hot tub and pool table, but it goes beyond what is mentioned. Forget a toothbrush…that ok brand new ones are provided in the little pouches like you get at a dentist with a small tube of name brand toothpaste. Razors, lotions, plenty of toilet paper, games, iron, ironing board, coffee, and the list goes on. The beds are heavenly. You have privacy in a safe area. Check in and out process was super easy. The cabin was extremely clean!!! The decor fit amazingly! And the owner even left a sweet little welcome gift!!! If I/we ever visit this area again this will be the cabin I rent!!! We were so impressed that the two ladies traveling with me even sent the information to their husbands for a future place to stay!! I am unable to express how perfect this cabin was!! Seeing is believing and you will not be let down!! I absolutely loved it!

A Definite Sweet Retreat!!

Such a great cabin in a perfect quiet location. This cabin has everything you need and more. The host have thought of everything…the kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you’d need to cook.. nice coffee bar and even sone toiletries sprinkled in just incase you may have forgotten something. The beds are very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely Outstanding Host and Cabin!Our stay at this cabin was nothing short of perfect, and it’s all thanks to our incredible host. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully planned to ensure a memorable experience. The host went above and beyond with little touches that truly made our stay special — like the amazing coffee bar stocked with disposable cups, a variety of Tortini sweeteners, creamer, sugar, Splenda and Keurig coffee pods ready for us to use! The attention to detail was impressive — from the high-quality, beautifully stamped toilet paper to the plush robes, the well-stocked pots and pans, and the wine glasses displayed on the bed. The extra spices and thoughtful amenities like comfy beds and outdoor setups on both floors made our stay so relaxing. The cabin itself is stunning — beautifully maintained and thoughtfully decorated.Overall, this was easily the best host we've ever had on Vrbo. We felt welcomed, pampered, and completely at home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to returning!
