The perfect beach getaway
This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed here. It is a house for total relaxation. The views are beautiful, the neighborhood is peaceful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and beach. I never want to leave! We definitely will be back again!!

Great long weekend stay for a large group of friends
We had a wonderful time spending a long weekend at the Malibu House. A couple of things to note: - Make sure to receive the check-in process and save it to your phone prior to arriving. We did not have great cell phone service at the house so we had to leave the house to get reception in order to receive check-in instructions. - The in-house audio was not working while we were there which was a bummer, but the manager of the property said they were working on it. - The screen on the door of the screened-in porch was missing which was another bummer when we wanted to spend time outside without the bugs. - We could not get the theater to work while we were there, but it ended up not being a problem because there were so many other things to do at the house including a bonfire in the back, swimming in the indoor pool, and playing outdoor games in the large, beautiful backyard. - We were able to see the northern lights and it was nothing short of spectacular. The lack of light pollution at the house provides incredible viewing of the stars at night. - We hired Chef Colin of Chef on the Run and he was FANTASTIC. We can not say enough about him. He was professional, on-time, and made DELICIOUS food for us even with short notice leading up to the event. Do yourself a favor and hire him for your weekend at the Malibu House. - The setup of the house features a bathroom for every bedroom which worked out great for our group. - We would definitely return to the Malibu house!

Excellent home
Beautiful home, clean and great for a family get togethers. There was plenty to do for Everyone. The theater and pool were a hit. Would defiantly do it again

The best yet!
Even though the blizzard and deep freeze derailed our plans by leaving the area without power for over 16 hours, Tyler saved the day by graciously putting our family up for the night at the charming and welcoming Highland Lodge. Tyler and house manager, Dave, constantly checked on us, providing updates from the power company and even offering to treat us to nearby indoor venues (pool, gym, tennis, movie theater, bowling) until we could get back in the Malibu House the next day. Without having to ask, Tyler extended our visit free of charge. WOW is how I would describe this house! Every year, my husband and I go on a mini-vacation at a rental property with our three adult children, our son/daughters-in-law and our grandkids (currently ages 2-11). Everyone agreed that this was the best house yet–it was impossible to be bored! The movie theater, pool (with a reassuring security/safety system), arcade games, upstairs bedroom/playroom, kitchen, bedrooms with ensuites, house layout, etc etc, were thoughtfully planned for families. The frigid weather kept us indoors, but we enjoyed the view of the lake and occasional deer sightings. The only problem with our next trip will be deciding which of Tyler and Emily’s properties to visit! I’m thinking we’ll have to experience them all!

Amazing stay!
The Malibu House lived up to every previous 5 star review and the description and pictures were very accurate. The house the clean, fully stocked with all needed necessities and the amenities were amazing. Tyler was a great host and checked in during our stay through the app as well. Thanks again for a great stay!

Great house! As advertised
Our group had a wonderful 4 days here. You could open the back sliding doors and listen to the waves rolling in. Lots of space for the group to spread out and and the kitchen was well equipped.

Everything was a WOW!
Believe the photos you see- the house, its location on Lake Michigan, and all its amenities were spectacular. The house was not only immaculate but also well maintained & supplied with every imaginable item. It was the perfect place to gather our family of twelve for an incredible celebration on Lake Michigan. Our deepest thanks to our hosts for all their efforts in helping make our family reunion perfect.

Fun for the whole family
The adults were able enjoy the extra inside amenities ( pool and movie theatre) after the children were in bed. Outdide area with fire pit and playground were very much enjoyed by the whole family. The spacious floor plan of the house made our stay very enjoyable.

Malibu House & More
Beautiful view. Served the diverse needs of the family. Fire pit was great. Lots of lake glass to find on the shoreline. The indoor pool and gameroom saved our rainy Monday. Location was perfect for accessing local activities. 5-star rating for Dinner with Class (private chef James), Playin Hooky (Captain Dave), family group golf lessons at Whistling Straits, and Bookworm Gardens.

Perfect Stay
This home was just as advertised. Super clean when we arrived and everything was labeled for our ease. We loved playing lawn games all day, taking a dip when it got hot, and then building a fire to end the night. It was perfect for our group!
