The hotel de la Ville was very comfortable, clean and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially in organizing our transport to the port and giving suggestions for the location of a super market.

This is an older property that's been updated. The rooms are quite clean the common areas and hallways showed quite a bit of wear. The hotel is convenient located there are plenty of shops and restaurants to walk to. It's too far to walk to the cruise port you'll need to arrange for a shuttle which you can do at the front desk. The staff is very friendly checking is at 3:00 p.m. and they will store your luggage if you arrive before then.

The Hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location. The room was lovely with a beautiful view. The bathroom is a bit small and awkwardly situated and the shower was not the best but adequate. We would stay here again as it is near the train station, bus station, Hertz rental car office and the waterfront and walking distance to everything. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was in a great location and in general was very good. Staff were helpful and the breakfast good value. The room was spacious and comfortable, but what let the experience down was the bathroom. The shower cubicle was broken and did not slide correctly and an area in the shower was damaged with mould around the area. A bathroom refurbishment would certainly raise the standard. Our travelling companions also had a similar issue with their shower door.

Rooms Dated, linen old, no clock, no model changing deck or stations. No place to store bags unless it on a selective nature…..meaning we had bags and they said just put them in a general public area to right of front desk. However less than 30 minutes later they offered secure storage to Caucasian guest on two separate occasions.

It was beautiful and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful he made our navigation of the transit system seamless. The room was very nice ans the Balcony was huge ans the views were breathtaking 10/10 would recommend !The only con was the breakfast 24euro for coffee and donut was a lot.

The suite we stayed in was lovely but very dated I had a run in with reception as we did book a taxi with them for the airport but didn’t see any of there prices which wasn’t displayed in the room we found out the price at 11 am but cancelled at 6 pm as we found a much cheaper taxi as they tried to charge us €175 for a 35 minute trip to the airport then when I cancelled it was impossible to change it as the taxi service was shut and tried bullying me into paying so not a great experience
