Despite the wall heater not working the unit was warm and quiet and although dated exceeded our expectations. Criticisms, the shower tray was not level and did not drain completely, bathroom floor slippery when wet, bed was ok but a duvet would be nicer than blankets and a foam topper pad more comfortable. Fix the heater.

The room was great. It was cold on arrival and did not heat up very well during the night. We used the small extra fan heater which worked but only in it's immediate vicinity. If it was warmer, i would have rated comfort a 5.

Good service upon check in, very spacious unit. Unit smelled mouldy, there were rips in the carpet, dripping taps, evidence of water egress into the unit. Shower had very low pressure, only ventilation in bathroom was a window that when opened gave access physically and visually to any other guests walking past. Definitely NOT a 4 star motel.

The motel room we stayed in was upstairs. It was really nice to arrive to the heater turned on. It was clean and tidy. The parking for a bigger/ longer vechile is a bit problematic, you may have to park on the road but it is a great location so close to town. The black mold in the bathroom that has been painted over is not ideal. It would be nice to see an extractor fan / heater put in the bathroom although the windows can be fully opened. Also guests arriving late at night or walking past room upstairs / sound is a bit loud during sleeping hours. But at the end of the day for value for money it is a good place to stay.

Clean, dry, warm and spacious with some Sky TV channels. Comfy enough beds. Close to Hagley park and food. Property needs some maintenance, a lot of doors didn't shut properly.

There was a distinct lack of mirrors. Apart from the bathroom there was only one small mirror in the kitchen area hung so hi we couldn't look into it. Not ideal when there are 4 people trying to get ready for a function. Not a huge issue but also an easy fix. Also the property is definitely showing its age. But it is still a place I would stay at again. Great location.

The check-in was abit ho-hum ,qe had to haul our heavy bags up STEEP stairs, maintenence was overdue, there were slip/trip hazards of small fruit on the walk way and the wall socket in bathroom didn't work
