Really nice house in a lovely location. There are excessive instructions posted throughout the house, in a booklet in the house, online and texted to you by the host.

My family and I stayed here for my daughters PIR at Great Lakes Naval Station - RTC. It was fantastic. There was plenty of space for all six of us and the property was in great condition. Being able to park in the garage was a huge bonus for a short term rental property. There was plenty of shopping nearby. It also wasn't too far from downtown or the airport, but far enough that we didn't feel the hustle and bustle associated with those things.

Lots of space!

We stayed here for a dance comp in Rosemont. There were 11 of us. The house was very spacious and perfect for a group this size. Clean and great location. Would definitely stay again.

Great home in an incredible neighborhood!

The house is fantastic. So close to family when we were visiting relatives in Chicago. We very much enjoyed the living space and the hosts have thought of everything! Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Owen’s! House was one of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed in. We had an issue with AC when we first arrived and the response was immediate which we appreciated. House was on a nice quiet dead end. Took a star off for accuracy as lake is across the little road, not on the property and the fireplace is listed but they ask you not to use it - it’s on the fine print down below but still listed as an amenity. No big deal but just to let future renters know. Overall it’s a great rental, clean home, a responsive owner and we would stay again if in the area.

Good pans and sharp knives

My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights. The house was incredible. We felt very comfortable. It really felt like home. It was very clean. The kitchen was large and very well stocked. The pots were like brand new and the knives were sharp. There were enough dishes and silverware to feed at least 10 people. There were plenty of towels, a full size washer and dryer, and even a second refrigerator in the garage. There was plenty of storage spaces so you could unpack and stay a long while. The view of the lake was fun to look at. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to visit family.

Exceptional Lakefront Home Getaway

This cozy lakefront home was the perfect retreat for us during our Chicago vacation. The home was decorated beautifully and everything was clearly labeled so we could find what we needed. An instruction manual provided us with nearby shopping, hospitals and train transportation. We drove to the train station just minutes away from the house and it made it easy to get to the city. We were able to easily take a bus to Navy Pier and other places during our stay.The lion themed home made us feel welcome since we are Detroit Lions fans! We also felt like the home embraced us with all of the spiritual and inspirational quotes scattered throughout.That said, we would definitely return to this property. It was impeccably clean, well manicured inside and out, and equipped with many amenities (bikes, kayaks, games, etc.). Ceiling fans kept us cool in each bedroom. The host was responsive, courteous and sincere when contacted. Owen the Lion was a winner!

From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the stunning decor and the attention to detail throughout the home. It was not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect retreat for our Girls Weekend.The location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions and downtown Chicago, while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed spending our mornings on the lovely deck, sipping coffee and soaking in the views of the lake. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease, and the spacious living areas made it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.Our host was exceptional—very responsive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. It’s clear they take great pride in their property, and it made all the difference in our experience.If you’re looking for a cozy, beautifully maintained place to stay, look no further. Beautiful spacious home

This was a last minute booking - we had to attend a funeral in the area. One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at! Plenty of space to work, sleep and cook. The home has a lake view, a large mud room, large kitchen, an office with doors for privacy and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Absolutely Perfect

This is a perfectly maintained home in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We are a family of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Finding a home with this many bedrooms and bathrooms was not easy and we were delighted with all the amenities that were provided. Everything in the listing is accurate and the host is very responsive. The home and location are better than the pictures. You will not be disappointed.

Home Away From Home

We had a larger group of family flying in from all over the country to attend a private memorial service nearby. This VRBO home was by far the nicest one any of us have ever stayed in. The setting itself was lovely and peaceful with views of the small lake and sunsets. Only two minor things were lacking. With a number of adults, a 2nd sink in the 2nd bathroom would have been helpful, but we made the space work with very little inconvenience overall. Also, since all the adults but one were wine drinkers, the absence of any wine glasses was noticeable. Juice glasses to the rescue! If not for those 2 items, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect home. It was very clean, fully stocked, a lovely welcoming basket of treats on the kitchen island made for happy snacking by all. Would definitely rent again if we came back to the area. Also, the check-in process was smooth and easy.
