Wonderful property. House is well stocked and very clean. The only drawback was there was a great deal of duckweed and issue with algae in the bay area. Not this property's issue but would put out a smell at times outside which was a bit of a bummer as the yard, back deck and dock was amazing!!

Excellent location and accommodations

Everything was updated, organized and great condition. All the amenities we needed were there. Beds were comfortable and the layout was perfect for 3 couples.

Christmas in June

My whole family gets together once a year for a family vacation! Wonderful location; beds were comfortable; amenities were spot on; very clean. We had coffee outside on the deck space in AM watching the Blue herons, Mallards and Geese. We had camp fires; went swimming, paddle boating and even took the kayaks out. and fishing in lake. The house is very well set up! Great communication with host/ manager!

Family vacation

We spent a week at Sunrise Pines! We had an awesome time!! The house was super clean and had everything we needed! The mattress in the master bedroom was so comfortable!We had the best luck fishing close to the house!We also enjoyed the shops, restaurant, bakery, and park!Coty was super friendly and easy to communicate with!It was a great week of fun with our family! I highly recommend Sunrise Pines!

Relaxing Lakefront Getaway

This is the second year my family and I have stayed at Sunrise Pines for most of the month of September. We love the "up north" feel with lots of privacy, a great fire pit, big pine trees, and the lake just steps from the deck. We made good use of the kayaks provided, and also rented a pontoon boat and had fun fishing and boating. We also appreciate the good wifi, comfortable beds, and well equipped kitchen. The house itself has a good layout, and for a longer stay like ours it's great to have a washer and dryer there. Finally, Coty, the manager, does an excellent job of communicating. We look forward to our next visit.

Peaceful cabin stay

This is a beautiful cabin on the lake. Everything that our family needed was provided for and it was very clean, spacious and pleasant. Coty is an excellent host. We highly recommend staying at Sunrise Pines. We would absolutely stay here again!

Annual fishing trip

It was a beautiful place and looks like the pictures. Property was clean and in good shape. Bed was comfortable and kitchen fully stocked with needed items even had salt pepper and a few other spices. Plenty of laundry soap and trash bags as well. I would swift recommend staying. Coty is an excellent host.

Idyllic Bay

We needed a quiet weekend before winter and this delivered. The location is serene and beautiful. The house is comfortable and clean. We’ll return next summer to explore the chain of lakes in the kayaks and pontoon boat.

Excellent Property

The property was perfect! Very clean and well maintained. Stocked with plenty of needed items. Very roomy and open. The weather was a little cool but we could still enjoy a little time sitting out on the deck. The view is magnificent especially early morning as the sun rises. There is definitely plenty of amenities both inside and outside. Very easy to get to the water and plenty of open space in the yard. The host was very attentive and kept in contact to make sure we didn't need anything. Would definitely recommend the place.

Sunset Pines October 2023

We very much enjoyed our stay, it was so beautiful and relaxing. I personally enjoyed how quiet it was which helped me relax and "get away from itv all" being right on the water was just amazing. I was also very impressed how much our hosts had thought of every possible need/want. Everything you could possibly want ir need is on premise. I am looking forward to booking my next trip. Coty was very professional and very responsive. I highly recommend renting this property.

Great house, great location, great host

My family and rented Sunrise Pines for a month, and had wonderful time. The house has that “up north” feel we were looking for, along with a great location. It’s right on the lake and has a big yard with a fire ring that we used many times. We also enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat available to us. There is a public boat launch nearby if you want to bring a boat. We arranged to rent a pontoon boat, and along with good fishing on the lake, there are several restaurants to boat to. Inside, the house kitchen is very well equipped (great for us with our long stay), the beds are very comfortable. And the internet service is better than mine at home. Coty was great to work with! He responded promptly to any questions I had. He even went above and beyond to accommodate us. The basement was in the beginning stages of renovation. My son, who works from home, asked if he could work from the basement during our stay. Cont and an assistant came out and painted the basement and brought out office furniture so my son was able to work there. This was a great vacation in a great location, and Coty was the perfect host.

Family get-away

Clean, comfortable and such a lovely spot on Prairie Lake. Comfortable beds and everything here for a memorable family get away. We rented the pontoon for our group which makes for great lake excursions. We took advantage of the city docks for a quick ride to town for dinner and exploring downtown Chetek. While we struggled finding fish on the lake, we caught blue gills right of the dock back at the house! No regrets from this family!

Great House

My family has been vacationing on Lake Chetek for over 40 years. We usually stay at resorts but last week we rented this house on VRBO and it was the best place we have ever stayed at. The house was so roomy and so comfortable, and the location on Lake Chetek was just perfect. We enjoyed family time, fishing, and eating at all our favorite restaurants in town. Cody was very helpful when I had questions before we arrived, and it was so easy to get in the house and lock the house every time we we came and went. We would rent this house again in the future for sure.
