The view from the deck does not disappoint. They have gated the deck and put in a fence around the cabin which I thought made it much safer with pets although we didn't bring ours. The location is less than 15 to Blue Ridge. The drive up and down is a little scary but manageable with a regular car/SUV. Scary only that the width can't accommodate two cars passing while both are moving. We had easy communication with the host the whole time, which helped when finding the hairdryer!!

Wonderful views. Cabin is nice albeit a bit dusty. Well stocked for cooking. The drive up the mountain is harrowing but well worth the trip. There are other cabins around but spaced out enough for privacy.

Beautiful and peaceful cabin. Communication was easy and host was pleasant. Renovations in the basement, but all advertised areas were easily accessible. Plenty of cooking supplies & every kind of appliance possible. Made it easy to stay in and cook great meals while relaxing. The views were absolutely amazing and loved the way the mountain peaks changed daily according to the weather and light. A few migrations insects in basement. Nothing unexpected in the heavily wooded area. 1st night did see a few roaches, but it was raining and as a Floridian I understand they can come in from the rain. They disappeared the next day & didn’t see anymore for the rest of the days we stayed.Would definitely stay again!

Hot tub was unusable. It was filthy and coated in green algae. Pet friendly with. 50 fee than ended up being 192.00 with poor explanation as to why. They said it went back into cleaning fees which clearly aren’t being utilized well based on the overall condition of the cabin. Check out is listed as 11am on vrbo, but actually 10am. Overall very disappointed in the overall experience. Property was very cozy and cute but they should seriously consider a landscaper to remove the weed overgrowth that consumed the back yard. Tons of thorns and weeds in the backyard require closed toed shoes and pants to avoid injury.

The setting was peaceful and cozy. The views were amazing and the neighborhood was quiet!The drive up is a good incline but the road is paved so no problems. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a couple issues but they were addressed immediately and professiinally. We would stay again!

Friends Getaway

We rent a cabin about 2 times a year, this was one of our favorites!!! The most well stocked, clean and comfortable. The hosts were very easy to work with and accommodating. We will absolutely be back!!
