Welcome to Perfectly Content! Classic Cape Cod 5 bedroom 3 bath Vacation Home Rental in Chatham a short walk to Schoolhouse Pond for freshwater swimming. It is located in a residential area and is convenient to the Cape Cod Bike trail, and the restaurant (Hanger B Eatery for a GREAT breakfast). New for 2022 - Central A/C! WIFI too.

We love how we are so close to the fresh water pond at School House Pond. Our neighborhood is calm and safe for the kids to ride bikes and play! We love being able to grill and enjoy meals out on the deck.

Let Us Tell You About This Home:

New for 2022: Central A/C added throughout house (ductless mini splits).
The main level of the house has a large unit in the dining room to cool the dining room, living room and kitchen. New A/C has been installed in the master bedroom, front bedroom and middle bedroom.

On the upper level, the master bedroom has A/C. Finally, there is also a unit in the upstairs bedroom for that room and the sitting room.

Enter through the front door to the living room which welcomes you with comfy seating and a large flat screen TV. Through the living room is the fully equipped eat in kitchen with sliders to the outside deck for al fresco style dining. The large dining table is great for family dinners. Down the hallway is full bathroom with tub/shower combo and double sinks. At the end of the hall is Bedroom #1 with a Queen bed with TV and en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower with pretty abalone tiles. Bedroom #2 offers a double bed and bedroom # 3 has 2 twins.

The second floor invites you to explore it's well thought out floor plan with reading nooks and a nautical flare complete with a "treasure chest". This floor offers a Jack and Jill bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower. Bedroom #4 to the right has a Queen bed with a TV and a reading area with a replica of the JFK rocking chair, while bedroom #5 has a double bed which is open to the sitting area with smart flat screen TV which joins the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

Head downstairs to a finished lower level with a game room to include air hockey and shuffleboard, a sitting area with another TV.
To the left of the stairs is a washer / dryer and iron and ironing board for your use in a separate room.

Outside is a deck with dining, gas grill and there is an enclosed outdoor shower. A picnic table in the backyard is perfect for an impromptu picnic. Feel free to park your car in the garage where you'll find beach chairs for your day at the beach.

Especially nice is the proximity to the bike trail which allows the entire family to experience an adventure on the Cape. There are so many things to see and enjoy along the way!
