We had booked the stay for three adults but extra bed was provided only on request. Only two bath towels and a floor towel was provided. The hotel should have provided extra bath towel and hand towels. Room safe did not lock and I had to call for assistance. The AC did not work at all. At 9:30 pm room temp was 20.5 degrees, we asked for extra blanket and asked to set the AC temperature to 24 degree. The staff member fixed the AC from his side and said it will increase to 24 degrees. When I got up at 3:20 am, room temperature had dropped to 17 degrees, for which I took a photo and showed to front desk staff while checking out. Buffet breakfast was reasonable but service quality was poor. Even basic Serviets (napkins) were not provided on the tables or near Buffett plates and we had to ask for those. I am providing my honest feedback and hope hotel management will use it to improve the services for future guests.

Staff had some issues. We requested late check out prior to end of our stay since had business meetings the check out day. Front desk said was fine and wasn’t a problem. On checkout day kept on harassing us to leave earlier. We were considering extending stay for another couple of days but decided to go to another property. Overall mediocre experience. Reviews made it seem like service would be great but wasn’t up to the hype.

excellent place for a stay in Chandigarh

everything was great! Staff very nice and eager to help with a big smile at any time. Food in the restaurant was good. The only thing was the mattress that was a bit too hard for our backs but nothing to complain.

Had a pleasant stay at Novotel Chandigarh. The highlight was the exceptional service from housekeeping staff member Jaspreet, who was cheerful, helpful, and professional throughout. He went above and beyond to ensure comfort and even declined a tip, saying it was his duty – truly commendable. All requests, including extra bedding, were accommodated very quickly, making the stay smooth and hassle-free. The food including breakfast options could be improved. Overall, a good and comfortable stay.
