Dream first Italy stop!

We enjoyed 4 wonderful days and loved every minute. The staff was kind, friendly, helpful, and made our stay very pleasant. Initially we had only booked 3 nights but loved it so much that decided to add one more night. The location also allowed us to visit other parts of the region like Pisa, Florence, and Siena. Having breakfast included and on site parking was the icing on this stay!!

Very cool property. The grounds are stunning and the dining was great. We did not have WiFi in our room unfortunately since it was broken and they were not able to fix it. They have e bikes on the property available to rent which was a great way to see the vineyards. Overall we had a very nice stay!

This was a great place. The place is well thought through and has a great vibe to it. It's a very good mix of ancient and modern part brought together. The walk across both the courtyards is calming. The chapel is peaceful. We got to stay both in the old and the new parts. The old part is good and will be great in good weather with a good group. The staff are really amazing and understanding. With our little one , they were very accommodating - esp the restaurant staff. We will go back in cooler weather once again

Our stay at La Certosa di Pontignano was a truly memorable experience. The historic charm of the property combined with the serene Tuscan landscape creates a magical and peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to match. The rooms were comfortable, the grounds beautifully maintained, and the staff welcoming and attentive. While we did encounter a small issue during our stay, it was addressed promptly and resolved to our complete satisfaction, which we greatly appreciated. The overall experience far outweighed this minor hiccup. The historical significance of the location adds a special depth to the visit—walking through centuries-old cloisters and gardens while enjoying the beauty of Tuscany is something we won’t forget. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil retreat.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay in Tuscany. The rooms are spacious, and ours overlooked the gardens. The furniture in our room was all antique, so the chairs weren’t very comfortable, but out on the balconies there are much comfier places to sit during the day. The gardens are great to explore and the balconies are perfect to spend a morning reading. The restaurant is delicious, we ate there three out of four nights on our honeymoon. Staff were friendly and helpful in booking us an excursion. We rented an electric car and they had two electric charging stations about a 2 minute walk down the road with a lot of free parking. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to a central base for day trips out to the cities in Tuscany, or for anyone who wants a magical stay in the country.
