Do not count on having a room if you book this place as there is no one around to help and trying to contact anyone is next to impossible. The first night when we got to the room it was not made up. There were no sheets, no towels and no one around the property to help us. We sent messages and tried calling and every other way to contact the owner or manager but got no reply. Finally after almost 3 hours someone brought sheets for us. The owners offered a $25 refund, but after a month we have still not seen any refund. We were there 2 nights and the second night some other people arrived at dark looking for their room. Again there was no one to help them and the room they were given was occupied by someone else. They eventually had to leave and try and find another room somewhere else. There is also no phone service in the area so you have to somehow get wi-fi or drive several miles up the road to use the phone. Not worth the hassle, book somewhere else.

What an incredible view. Watching the sunrise over the Pacific horizon was the highlight of every day. The suites have everything you need, clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. You can also enjoy lon g walks on the beach at any time of day, including at night to take in the amazing view of the stars and, if you're lucky, a couple of planets.

My 3 night stay was not a pleasant one. There were issues with the AC right from the start, it was 37C. Although I tried several times using WhatsApp number they provided and emails to have it repaired it was not. They didn't allow me to move to a different room that wasn't used when I was there. Frustrating part was the new owners didn't respond till 4 hrs later, when did they text "sorry", but the AC was not repaired. These are new owners from the US, not like the previous owners. The rooms need some sprucing up and the lounge chairs are it tough condition.

Good hotel on the beach, the people running it were responsive, good view of the ocean from the rooms. The place, inside and outside was very clean. The water/beach right infront of the hotel is very rocky and had lots of debris on the beach. Overall it was good.

Great place, well furnished and equipped. Floor to ceiling windows. Staff were working to fix the broken AC when we arrived, which thankfully worked. Complex is Directly on the beach with several lounge chairs and umbrella areas on the property. It’s a rocky beach in front of the hotel but good swimming on the left near the river.

The property was spacious and beautiful with a great view. The only thing about the location was lack of dining options near by. Had we realized that we would have come prepared with more food. But we loved the place anyway and we were only there one night.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Caracol Boutique Hotel, with the exception of a 24-hour internet outage. It was repaired the following day. The view of the beach from our front balcony was amazing and truly a highlight of the stay. The accommodations, while not a five-star hotel, were very comfortable and more than adequate. Both the property and the unit itself were kept very clean. The air conditioning and ceiling fans worked well and easily kept the room cool. I was a bit disappointed with the slow communication from the renters, which could certainly be improved. That said, considering the value for the cost, it was overall a delightful stay. The beach directly in front of the hotel is swimmable at certain times of the day, depending on the tide, which adds to the appeal and makes it a very pleasant place to relax.
