Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy
Our stay was disappointing overall. While the property appeared tidy when we arrived, it was not actually clean. The biggest issue occurred during a rainstorm when water came into the house and caused flooding. We immediately contacted property management, and although they initially offered to move us to another property, that offer was later denied by the owner, leaving us to deal with the situation.The home also had several maintenance issues. Only one shower was fully functional, the air conditioning struggled and took a very long time to cool the house, and the refrigerator never got cold enough to properly keep food chilled.Comfort was another major concern. There were no couches in the living area—only a futon for seating—and it, along with the dining chairs and beds, was very uncomfortable. It made relaxing after a day at the beach difficult.The location may work for some travelers, but based on our experience with the cleanliness, maintenance problems, lack of comfortable furniture, and how the flooding issue was handled, we would not choose to stay at this property again.Very disappointed with our experience with Envolve and Vrbo and how all of this was handled.
