Just a short drive from the Severn Bridge, with easy access to Cardiff, Monmouth, Usk and Abergavenny, perfect for shows and food festivals throughout the year. A short 45 minute drive will lead you to the majestic Pen y Fan. A beautiful mountain with breath-taking views. In the Welsh borderlands you will find Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle and The Roman Fortress in Caerleon, all within easy reach. Big Pit is also well worth a trip with children, a chance to head underground in a real mine.

Enter this cottage into a hallway with the generously sized lounge to your right. This welcoming room has comfortable sofas framing the warming wood burner with seasoned logs thoughtfully provided ready for your arrival, there is also a Smart TV/DVD and a bookcase with plenty of books and board games to keep everyone entertained. From the hallway, head through to the kitchen/diner, which is spacious and well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, full-sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Sit, chat and plan your day at the farmhouse kitchen table. Upstairs on the first floor there are two characterful bedrooms, with exposed beams, both with en-suites. The first bedroom is a king-size and has fine rural views and an en-suite shower room and WC. The second bedroom has a twin zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a king-size on request), this also benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, making this a super retreat for families and couples alike.

Outside there is off-road parking for two cars. Lots of lovely, sunny spots around the grounds to enjoy with your own table and chairs provided, BBQ and acres of fields that you are very welcome to explore. There is an exclusive lawn area for guests just across the courtyard, an ideal space for children to play or for everyone to enjoy a picnic.
