Great customer service, clean room, helpful. I had a room by the breakfast bar which I will avoid in the future. Two different times during my stay people tried to open my door which made a very loud banging noise because I had both locks set (thankfully). I was sound asleep and it scared me half to death. Plus I could hear all the noise from the breakfast crowd. So I like how clean the room was and how friendly and helpful the staff was so I will book again. But I will be sure to avoid the rooms by the breakfast area.

Nice hotel

Such a nice hotel even though some things were a little dated everything was kept clean and in good working condition. It was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were especially impressed by the staff running the continental breakfast. The coffee was always hot and the breakfast area itself was incredibly clean. Our room was on the third floor and was quiet and comfortable. Our shower even had great water pressure. There are several restaurants in walking distance and shopping nearby. Both the east and west side of the Shawnee national forest are less than an hour away and the college is even closer.

Was asked at check in which floor I prefer. I said it didn’t matter when I went to my room. I heard the person next-door in the adjoining room that had an adjoining door, coughing their head off very loud in that room so I asked to be moved, I was informed that there were no more rooms available. If there were no more rooms available, why was I ask which for preference. I stayed in that room two nights listening to the person next-door, coughing all night with their TV wide open and had friends and relatives over. The third night the carbon monoxide detector kept going off, so I called down and the lady at the desk, which was the different one from the person at the desk on the first two nights came up, and I explained everything to her, and she moved me down to the end of the hall where I could actually sleep through the night

Only stayed one night but would not stay here again. The room was not clean. This is suppose to be a smoke free hotel but clearly someone was smoking because you could smell smoke. Had to put a towel at the bottom of the door in our room so we didn’t have to smell it.
