Great girls trip!

My best friend and I took our daughters (ages 4, 7, and 8) to Cape Charles for vacation. This was the perfect place to stay! We are already planning to take a trip back there!!

Family Week in Cape Charles

Lovely place. Rent a golf cart for the week in advance. We had a great time. Location was wonderful. Plenty of space for my family of 5. Well equipt for small children (pack n play, high chair, kid dishes and cups).

The kitchen was stocked with dishes and all the essentials. And we appreciated the beach chairs. The only bummer was the season wasn't underway in early April, so available restaurants were limited.

Beautiful home

The home is absolutely gorgeous! I would recommend renting with younger kids. The whale room doesn’t have room for much luggage, so it was perfect for my little ones!! I’ve emailed a few times about the property and haven’t heard back. There is only one tv in the house on the main floor if that is a factor for your family! The location can’t be beat. You can walk to the playground/fields, or be on Mason Ave within a couple blocks. We loved our short stay here!

Loved being so close to the park too for the Saturday night concert. The house itself is well stocked and decorated so nicely. We will definitely book again!

It was really a nice layout for our family, close to everything, including most of our favorite shops and the park/playground. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we also really appreciated the good communication and simplicity of check-out. Would absolutely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a wonderful vacation and this house was perfect for my family of 6. It was clean, centrally located and very comfortable. We rented 2 golf carts and this made it easy and fun to explore around the area. We enjoyed watching a meteor shower in the beach the first night, played pickle ball everyday, went to the beach, visited the shops and had great meals at the local restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed a sunset sailboat ride, where we saw a pod of dolphin.. We made memories for a lifetime and would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time exploring the area and relaxing in this beautiful home. The house is decorated tastefully and is in a great location. We especially love how well Chesapeake Properties provided some starter products for us (dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, etc).The only two complaints we have are that the bed frame in the master bedroom has a leg in the middle, which we kept kicking, and the whale bedroom is quite small.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property to others.

Summer Vacation

Great property, great location, great town! We loved everything about our stay. House has plenty of room for everyone (2 adults, 3 kids). Kitchen is well stocked. Lots of beach toys, towels, chairs and umbrella.

Charming Beach House in Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This masterfully renovated and furnished house is in the perfect location, close to both beach and town. No need to ever use your car. But it could have been cleaner - the carpets didn't seem to have been vaccumed and the bed linens and towels could definitely use a refresh. There is some newish seating in the backyard which would have been great except for the ants all over it. We looked for a hose or some cleaning supplies to wash them off but no luck. The management company was very responsive when we called to ask for some basic supplies that were missing and had them out to us in a few hours. All in all, a property I would consider renting again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay and rented it as we saw the duplex being renovated by the previous owners. We were very happy with the house, although it could have been a bit cleaner. The rugs in particular were still very dirty, especially as we had a crawling baby and there was a lot of dust and dirt under the beds, which we discovered on a rainy day when the kids wanted to play hide and seek. Additionally, two of the toilet roll holders were falling off and a curtain rail was falling down (a worry with the kids). But nothing really deterred us from having a good week at the beach and a nice stay.

We rented a golf cart for quick trips around town but the house was in a great location, super quick to the main downtown and the beach. The house was (not surprisingly!) so well decorated and stylish, well stocked and cozy for our stay. There were beach toys and chairs available for our use which we and our kids super appreciated! We'd highly recommend this rental for other travelers.
