Labor Day on the Bay
Well loved, maintained & stocked home on the bay. Everything was thought of by the owners. Large living space for all to congregate & each have his/her own seat. Well stocked kitchen included all the necessary cooking/baking/serving supplies + several pantry staples. All appliances in working order.
Each family couple had their own large bedroom with plenty of room & their own private bath (+ bidets). Nice & clean upon arrival + a little treat from the owner, which was unexpected but so appreciated.
Outdoor space is awesome with 3 separate areas to pull up a seat & enjoy the view of the bay. Lots of outdoor toys provided, from SUP & chairs to umbrellas & sand toys. Short path leading from home directly to beach. Outdoor shower & hose great for a rinse off.
1+ mile walk to most of the restaurants, brewery, shops & public beach. We rented a golf cart for convenience. The neighbors & neighborhood were quiet. Cape Charles is a great, safe walking town that didn't seem like a crowded tourist area for the Labor Day holiday. Will definitely be back for a relaxing retreat!
